| Objective:Evaluation of the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms of micro RNA-146 a rs2910164 and susceptibility to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma in Chinese population by Meta-analysis.Methods:The Pub Med,Embase,CNKI,web of science and Wanfang database were retrieved by computer,and the related conference papers and references were retrieved manually,comprehensively published all domestic and foreign literature on mi RNA-146 a single nucleotide polymorphisms associated with head and neck cancer before March 10,2017,strictly instituted the admittance criterion and exclusion criteria,the datum of eligible literatures were extracted separately by two researchers,Newcastle-Ottawa Scale(NOS)was used for quality evaluation,and quantitative composite analysis was performed by STATA14.Evaluation criteria adopted OR and95% CI to calculate the correlation of single nucleotide polymorphisms of micro RNA-146 a rs2910164 and susceptibility to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma in Chinese population under six genetic models,they were: allelic model(C vs.G),dominant model(GC+CC vs.GG),recessive model(CC vs.GG+GC),homozygous model(CC vs.GG),heterozygous model(GC vs.CC),additive model(GG+CC vs.GC).Results:In this study,a total of 6 literatures and 8 case-control studies were conducted,all of them were associated with mi RNA-146 a single nucleotide polymorphisms and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma,the number of cases and samples in the control group was 13869 cases.Meta-analysis showed: There was a positive correlation between the homozygous model(CC vs.GG)and dominant model(GC+CC vs.GG)of mi RNA-146 a single nucleotide polymorphisms and HNC susceptibility,GC+CC vs.GG: OR=1.13;95%CI=1.003-1.293;CC vs.GG: OR=1.19;95%CI=1.032-1.382,and other genetic models were not statistically significant.The results of subgroup analysis of the geographical region and the tumor location showed: The dominant model(GC+CC vs.GG)and homozygous model(CC vs.GG)had statistical significance,and it was worth noting that,subgroup analysis results of genotyping methods showed,the application of PCR method might be more helpful to improve the accuracy of genotyping test;publication bias analysis showed: there was no publication bias in funnel plot and Egger`s test showed no publication bias;sensitivity analysis showed: the results of genetic analysis in each group were stable.Conclusions:1.Meta-analysis showed: The mi RNA-146 a single nucleotide polymorphisms might be associated with susceptibility to SSHNC in Chinese population.The micro RNA-146 a G > C homozygous model(CC vs.GG)and dominant model(GC+CC vs.GG)might increase the susceptibility to HNC;2.The results of subgroup analysis showed: Dominant model and homozygous models were statistically significant in the geographic region and the tumor location,and it was worth noting that,subgroup analysis results of genotyping methods showed,the application of PCR method might be more helpful to improve the accuracy of genotyping test.3.Because the study included a small sample size,and there was heterogeneity between the micro RNA-146 a G>C locus,but also took full account of genes and genes and the interaction between genes and the environment,therefore,the results of this study need more large sample studies to verify. |
