Objective:To identity the effect of different gastrointestinal score system on the value of patients’ outcome through monitoring the patients’ GIF scores,AGI grades,intra-abdominal pressure and SOFA scores in the critically patients who is on admission in the intensive care unit. Methods: The patients who is on admission in ICU from Sept 2015 to May 2016 were selected.Their intra-abdominal pressure were monitored in the first day when they entered ICU.And the following parameters were recorded on admission: the Sequential Organ Failure Assessmentage,GIF scores,AGI grades, whether mechanic ventilation be used,if it was,how long did it last, pathogenesis and 28 days-mortality.Age,sex,body mass index and yes or no diabetes were also including.Analyze the correlation of GIF scores,AGI grades and intra-abdominal pressure with sequential organ failure assessmentage with SPSS17.0.And the length of staying in ICU,the duration of mechanical ventilation and 28 days-mortality between every gastrointestinal score system were studied too.T-test for continuous variables and X2 test for categorical variables were used for comparisons of two groups.Rank sum test was used in more than two continuous variables. Results: 1.The level of the GIF scores,AGI grades and intra-abdominal pressure in the dead patients was higher than it in survival patients.P between groups was under 0.05;2.There existed an obviously correlation between the GIF scores,AGI grades,intra-abdominal pressure and the Sequential Organ Failure Assessmentage.P was under 0.01,but the r was under 0.5.3.It was not equal in every grades among the GIF scores and AGI grades on the length of mechanical ventilation(P<0.05).On the duration of ICU stay, every GIF scores was different(P<0.05),but AGI grades were same.P in AGI grades was 0.234.The duration of ICU stay and mechanical ventilation were both higher in IAH patients than non-IAH patients.4.Through investigating the value of different gastrointestinal score system using receiver operation characteristic curve(ROC curve),the GIF scores+SOFA scores was the biggest area under curve(AUC=0.729).And the next one was AGI grades combined SOFA scores. Its area under the curve was 0.718.Conclusion:Higher the GIF scores,AGI grades and the intra-abdominal pressure, higher the mortality in the intensive care patients, and the GIF scores and the AGI grades were the independent risk factor of the patients mortality.GIF scores and IAH influenced the duration of ICU stay and the length of mechanic ventilation, but AGI grades only influenced the length of mechanic ventilation. They were all important to patients’ mortality, and the most valuable system is the GIF scores+SOFA scores.
