Effects Of Buzhong Yiqi Granules And Taohua Soup On The Expression Of AQP3 And AQP8 In Intestinal Mucosa Of Ulcerative Colitis Rats

Objective: Through the test of containing of AQP3 and AQP8(Aquaporin-3、Aquaporin-8)in ulcerative colitis(UC)rats colon tissue.Discussing the therapeutic effect and the possible mechanism of Buzhong Yiqi Granules and Taohua Soup to UC rats.Method:A total of 40 healthy rats were randomly divided into the control group(A),model group(B),Chinese medicine group(C)and western group(D).In addition to the normal group,the ulcerative colitis models in all of the rest three groups were established by giving dextran sulfate sodium(DSS).Drug treatment intervention will be continued for 2 weeks after the model established.The expression of AQP3 and AQP8 in intestinal mucosa of all groups was examined by Rt-PCR and immunohistochemistry.Results:The expression of AQP3 and AQP8 positive cells in the rats of model group was less than in normal group,the number of positive cells and the average optical density decreased significantly,which had significant difference compared with the normal control group(P<0.01).The expression of AQP3 and AQP8 in Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group increased significantly and showed a significant difference compared with the model group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between Chinese medicine group and western medicine group on the expressions of AQP3 and AQP8(P>0.05).Conclusion : The Buzhong Yiqi Granules and Taohua Soup significantly improve the expression of AQP3 and AQP8 in ulcerative colitis model rats.It probably treated the ulcerative colitis by raising the expression of AQP3 and AQP8.
