Five Cases Of Nipple Hypertrophy Correction By The Deglove Operation

Objective: To explore a new method which pre-design is easy and can be widely used to correct nipple hypertrophy.Methods: Collected a total of 5 nipple hypertrophy patients(10 nipples)at the plastic surgery clinic of the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university,from March 2015 to September 2016.Female,with an average age of32.The average diameter of the nipple is 17.1 mm.The average height of the nipple is 18.1 mm.Correct the hypertrophy nipples by the deglove operation(designed a smaller incision circular on the top of the nipple,and a “ ring”incision on nipple profile,cut open the top of the nipple skin on the smaller circular,stripping off the skin and subcutaneous soft tissue glove from the subcutaneous to the nipple base,keep the blood supply of central organization and mammary gland of central catheter is complete,then cut open the skin and subcutaneous soft tissue glove at 3,6,9 and 12 o ’clock position to the nipple base,open in four directions respectively,cut off excess skin and subcutaneous tissue along the nipple ring design side line.Suture the Circular incision to be a new nipple.)The clinic and telephone were followed up for 6months after operation,to observe the necrosis of the nipple and assess theshape,size,sensory function and scar of the nipples.Results: During the six months of follow-up,five cases of 10 nipples with no necrosis and infection.The average diameter of the nipple is 9.2 mm,the average height of the nipple is 5.6 mm.The diameter and height of the papillary nipple are significantly smaller,the appearance is improved,the scar is not obvious and the nipple feels good.Conclusion: Deglove operation of nipple reduction pre-design is simple,easy to operate,have a satisfactory effect,this method can be widely used in nipple hypertrophy correction.
