The Clinical Study On Balancing Acupuncture And Traditional Acupuncture In Treating Shoulder Periarthritis

objectiveTo explore the more effective therapy,by observing balancing acupuncture and traditional acupunture in treating shoulder periarthritis,constrasted with traditional acupuncture therapy,before and after treatments observing groups symptom modification situation,with conducted randomized controlled trial.MethodsReview theoretical study results of shoulder periarthritis,with having a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of its aspects such as definition,pathogenesis of not only modern medicine but also traditional Chinese medicine,epidemiological studies,and common clinical treatment therapies.The study object were totally 60 cases with suffering from shoulder periarthritis,of which were from the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM acupuncture dept patients,and were randomly divided into matched group(30 cases)and treatment group(30 cases).The treatment group was chose balancing acupuncture of jian-tong point,combined with tradtional acupuncture,taken treatment for 30 minutes every day(Monday to Friday),which were needed 2 courses totally,and five times for a course.The control group was taked tradtional acupuncture.The time and courses were the same.Observing symptom modification situation before and after treatment processes,take the Vasual Analogue scale(VAS)and Functional activity socre(Melle score)as observation indexes between mathed group and treatment group,to assess the curative effect difference.Results1.By looking up things of shoulder periarthritis,I have hanven a deeper and the more comprehensive understanding of its pathogenesis symptoms signs and therapies.2.30 treatment group samples contained male 13 and female 17,among them aged between 23-77.While,30 control group ones,which included the same male and female,aged between 22-75.By contrsting,there are no visibly difference in gender,age and curses of disease aspects among two groups.3.Similarly,there are no great difference in VAS and Melle scores before treatment..4.Before and after treatment,there are significant difference in VAS score both mathed groups and treatment ones.There is greatly statistical significance,comparing VAS score between two groups after treatment.Both treatment group and the control can observably decrease the VAS score.And the treatment group shows more significant in decreasing VAS score than the control.5.Similarly,by contrasting the results before and after treatment,there are significant differences in Melle score.Comparing Melle score between two groups after treatment,there is also greatly statistical significance.The two groups can significantly decrease the Melle score,and the treatment group shows more significant in decreasing the control.6.After treatment,there were 13 cases effective,7 cases efficient,7 cases cured and 3 cases had no effect in treatment group,of which the total effective rate was 90.00%.For control group,there were 9 cases effective,8 cases efficient,3 cases cured,and 10 cases had no effect,of which the total effective rate was 63.33%:The rusult of Ridit analysis indicates the curative effect of the treatment group is much better than the controll.ConclusionBalancing acupuncture combined with traditional acupuncture is a better therapy of treating periarthritis of shouler,with better effect,relieving pain,improving shoulder jiont activitise and protecting patients’ quality of life.
