The Clinical Study Of Fire Needle Combined With Simiaosan For The Acute Gouty Arthritis Patients

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of the combined therapy that fire needle unite with simiaosan for acute gouty arthritis patients.MethodsThere were 66 cases of acute gouty arthritis patients collected,and two cases shed,no exclusion cases.32 cases in treatment group,they received the TCM traditional method,and the other 32 cases in control group received drugs.and both of them had a course of 7 days treatment.Then,the data was concluded,such as VAS,the level of uric acid,and the clinical symptom score.Based on the statistical data,the clinical effect was compared.Results1.VAS scores:By analyzing baseline data,the difference of VAS scores was not statistically significant.After treatment,the VAS scores were decreased,both methods could relieve patients of varying degrees of pain,but the treatment group rated 22.43 ± 5.21,control group rated 34.25 ± 5.66;by the statistical analysis,the treatment group VAS score decreased more significantly(P<0.01).2.the level of uric acid:before the treatment,the level of uric acid in two groups of patients was not statistically significant,After receiving treatment,two level decreased in varying degrees,the treatment group 340.32±21.44,after treatment reached a noimal level,the control group was 330.77±22.97,After statistical data analysis the dates showed no statistically significant(P>0.05)3 clinical scores:By analyzing baseline data,the difference of clinical scores was not statistically significant.After treatment,the clinical scores were decreased,both methods could relieve patients of varying degrees of pain,but the treatment group rated 5.21 ± 2.15,control group rated 8.47±3.27;by the statistical analysis,the treatment group clinical score decreased more significantly(P<0.05).3.Comparison of the clinical efficacy:After the courses of treatment,32 patients in treatment group,there were cured 24 cases of clinical treatment,the clinical cure rate 75.00%,effective in 8 cases,invalid 0 cases(0.00%).in the control group were clinically cured 15 cases,the clinical cure rate 46.87%,effective in 14 cases,invalid 3 cases(9.38%).the curative rate was 65.62%in the control group,while the curative rate was 93.75%in treatment group.the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionThe TCM the combined therapy that fire needle unite with simiaosan,that has contributed to relieve pain,decrease the level of blood uric acid,improve the clinical symptoms,and markedly effect the cure rate of the disease.
