Hypertension is a common disease,which is a danger factor of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease and threaten people’ s health.Effective control of blood pressure contributes to preventing and treating the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease,as well as reducing the incidence and mortality.With the development of economy and society,the prevalence of hypertension is rising.How to effective control of hypertension has become the hot spot of the current medical work.ObjectiveStudying the relationship of hypertension and solar terms and the meterological factors,and the incidence of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular in different solar terms.To improvethe theory of traditional Chinese medicine,especially treatment in accordance with seasonal conditions.MethodsIt’s an epidemiological observational study.The subjects were patients diagnosed with primary hypertension in Guangdong Province Hospital of TCM.We study the standard-reaching rate and the incidence of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular of patients in different solar terms and climates.Established a database,and used SPSS 17.0 software for data analysis.And study the relations of the change of blood pressure and solar terms by the statistical analysis,including Kruskal-Wallis H Test and Pearson correlation coefficient.Results1.The relationship between hypertension and solar termsThe average of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were different in different solar terms.The study found that,xiaohan,dahan,dongzhi,daxue,in those four solar terms,the average were higher,especially in the solar term of xiaohan.Dashu,xiaoshu,liqiu,xiazhi,in those four solar terms,the average were lower,especially in the solar term of dashu.Qingming,magnzhong.in both of the solar terms,the standard-reaching rate of diastolic blood pressure were higher,whereas,in the solar term of xiaohan,the standard-reaching rate was the lowest.Lixia,dashu,liqiu,in those solar terms,the rate of systolic blood pressure were higher.From shuangjiang to dahan,in those solar terms,the rate of systolic blood pressure were lower,especially in the solar term of dahan.2.The relationship between the incidence of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease and solar termsDahan,lichun,chushu,qiufen,in those solar terms,the cardiovascular and cereovascular disease easily occurred,especially in dahan.Otherwise,bailu,hanlu,shuangjiang,in those solar terms,the incidence were lower.3.The relationship between hypertension and the meterological factorsThe average of systolic blood pressure was negatively correlated with the daily average temperature(P<0.01),r=-0.699.The average of diastolic blood pressure was negatively correlated with the daily average temperature(P<0.01),r=-0.676.The standard-reaching rate of systolic blood pressure was positively correlated with the daily average temperature(P<0.01),r=0.676.The average of diastolic blood pressure had no relationship with daily average temperature(P>0.05).The average of systolic blood pressure was positively correlated with daily average atmospheric pressure(P<0.05),r=0.468.The average of diastolic blood pressure was positively correlated with daily average atmospheric pressure(P<0.05),r=0.436.The standard-reaching rate of systolic blood pressure was negatively correlated with daily average atmospheric pressure(P<0.05),r=-0.414.The average of diastolic blood pressure had no relationship with daily average atmospheric pressure(P>0.05)Whether the average of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure or the standard-reaching rate of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure had no relationship with daily precipitation,daily average relative humidity and daily average wind speed(P>0.05).ConclusionsThe standard-reaching rate of blood pressure and the incidence of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are correlative with the solar terms,temperature,and atmospheric pressure.The average of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure,the standard-reaching rate of blood pressure and the incidence of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are different in different solar terms.We can adjust medicine for patients of primary hypertension according to the change of solar terms,temperature and atmospheric pressure,so as to reducing the incidence of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular.However,the study in the future still need to expand the amount of data,develop multi center study,and take TCM syndrome type into the study,in order to obtain more accurate conclusions.
