Objective:to explore the odor response pattern characteristics of oral breath among the different syndrome elements of the location combinations,qi stagnation syndrome combined with the different syndrome elements of the disease nature,asthenic and sthenic syndromes of the disease nature of the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis,by using electronic nose,which collecting the odor response pattern of oral breath,and combining the syndrome elements differentiation method,in order to provide an objective basis for the diagnosis of qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis,and provide the basic research for the objectivity of the traditional Chinese medicine odor diagnosis.Methods:in 397 cases of patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis as observed object,241 cases of patients with non-qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis and 120 healthy subjects as controls.We collected four diagnostic information and the odor response pattern of oral breath of chronic gastritis patients,using the syndrome elements differentiation method to analyze the feature of disease location and syndrome elements of the disease nature combined with the qi stagnation syndrome of patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis.We analyze the experimental data and study the odor response pattern characteristics of oral breath of patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis by using spectrum feature extraction.Results:1.The distribution characteristics of syndrome elements of chronic gastritis qi stagnation syndrome are:(1)syndrome elements of disease location of chronic gastritis are stomach,spleen,liver.(2)syndrome elements of disease nature are heat,yang hyperactivity,dampness,stasis of blood,phlegm,qi deficiency,yin deficiency,yang deficiency.2.The comparison of the odor response pattern characteristics among patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis,non-qi stagnation syndrome patients of chronic gastritis and healthy persons:statistical method:(1)Pattern recognition:the accuracy of random forest algorithm can reach 65.85%,the accuracy distribution of kNN clustering and decision tree algorithm is 65.45%and 64.79%.(2)The amplitude characteristic:The amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of B,C,D,E,F,I,J of patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis were significantly higher than those of healthy persons(P<0.01).The amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of A,B,C,D,E,F,I of patients with non-qi stagnation syndrome patients of chronic gastritis were significantly higher than those of healthy persons(P<0.01),G,H were significantly lower than those of healthy persons(P<0.01).The amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of A,B,E,G,H,I of chronic gastritis qi stagnation syndrome were significantly higher than those of non-qi stagnation syndrome(P<0.01),and the amplitude of curve J was higher than that of non-qi stagnation syndrome(P<0.05).(3)The slope characteristic:The slope of the odor response pattern curves of B,C,D,E,F,I of patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis were significantly higher than those of healthy persons(P<0.01)and the slope of curves of A,G,H were significantly lower than that of healthy subjects(P<0.01).The slope of the odor response pattern curves of B,C,D,E,F,I,J of patients with non-qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis were significantly higher than those of healthy persons(P<0.01),and A,G,H were significantly lower than those of healthy persons(P<0.01),the comparison of the slope of the odor response pattern characteristics between patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis and non-qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis showed no significant difference.3.The comparison of the odor response pattern characteristics among the common syndrome elements of the location combinations of patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis:(1)The amplitude characteristic:The amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of B,C,D,E,I,F,J of the stomach group and stomach and spleen group of the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis were significantly lower than that in the combination stomach and spleen and liver group(P<0.01),and the comparison of the amplitude of the odor response pattern characteristics between combination group of stomach and liver and combination group of stomach and liver and spleen showed no significant difference.(2)The slope characteristic:The slope of the odor response pattern curves of B,C,D,E,F,I of the stomach group and combination stomach and spleen group of the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis were significantly lower than that in the combination stomach and spleen and liver group(P<0.01),the slope of the odor response pattern curves of A of the combination stomach and spleen group was lower than that in the stomach and spleen and liver group(P<0.05),the comparison of the slope of the odor response pattern characteristics between combination group of stomach and liver and combination group of stomach and liver and spleen showed no significant difference.4.The comparison of the odor response pattern characteristics among the common syndrome elements of the disease nature combined with the qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis:(1)The amplitude characteristic:The amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of A,B,E,G,H of the combination qi stagnation and damp heat syndrome group and combination qi stagnation and heat syndrome group were significantly lower than that the combination qi stagnation and damp syndrome group(P<0.05),the amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of A,E,G,H of the combination qi stagnation and yin deficiency syndrome group was lower than that the combination qi stagnation and damp syndrome group(P<0.05),and the comparison of the amplitude of the odor response pattern characteristics between combination qi stagnation and yang deficiency syndrome group and combination qi stagnation and damp syndrome group showed no significant difference.(2)The slope characteristic:The slope of the odor response pattern curves of A of the combination qi stagnation and damp heat syndrome group were higher than the combination qi stagnation and damp syndrome group,the slope of the odor response pattern characteristics of the combination qi stagnation and yin deficiency syndrome elements group,combination qi stagnation and heat syndrome elements group and combination qi stagnation and yang deficiency syndrome elements group compared to the combination qi stagnation and damp syndrome elements group showed no significant difference.5.The comparison of the odor response pattern characteristics between the asthenic and sthenic syndrome elements of disease nature:(1)The amplitude characteristic:The amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of B,E,F of thesimple qi stagnation syndrom elements group were significantly lower than that the qi stagnation syndrom elements mixed with asthenic and sthenic syndrome group(P<0.01),the amplitude of the odor response pattern curves of B,I of the combination qi stagnation syndrom elements and sthenic syndrome group were lower than that the qi stagnation syndrom elements mixed with asthenic and sthenic syndrome group(P<0.05),and the comparison of the slope of the odor response pattern characteristics between the simple qi stagnation syndrom elements group and the combination qi stagnation syndrom elements and sthenic syndrome group showed no significant difference.(2)The slope characteristic:The slope of the odor response pattern curves of A,G,H of the combination qi stagnation syndrom elements and sthenic syndrome group were higher than that the qi stagnation syndrom elements mixed with asthenic and sthenic syndrome group(P<0.01),the slope of the odor response pattern characteristics of the simple qi stagnation syndrom elements group compared to the qi stagnation syndrom elements mixed with asthenic and sthenic syndrome group and combination qi stagnation syndrom elements and sthenic syndrome group showed no significant difference.Conclusions:1.The distribution characteristics of syndrome elements of chronic gastritis qi stagnation syndrome are stomach,spleen,liver,heat,yang hyperactivity,dampness,stasis of blood,phlegm,qi deficiency,yin deficiency,yang deficiency,syndrome elements differentiation can be distinguished by using the method of syndrome differentiation.2.The oral breath odor information among the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis,non-qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis and healthy persons are different.The electronic nose can identify the odor response pattern characteristics of the oral breath of the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis.3.The oral breath odor information among the different syndrome elements of the location combinations,qi stagnation syndrome combined with the different syndrome elements of the disease nature,asthenic and sthenic syndromes of the disease nature of the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis are different.Using the electronic nose can distinguish the odor response pattern characteristics among the different syndrome elements of the location combinations,the different syndrome elements of the disease nature combined with qi stagnation syndrome,different asthenic and sthenic disease nature of the patients with qi stagnation syndrome of chronic gastritis.
