Objective This study explores the methods of retrospective medical research by using the data of hospitalized medical records of previous patients with jaundice in Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The core prescription,commonly use drugs and compatibility rules for the treatment of jaundice are studied.Study on the Law of Effectiveness.For the Chinese medicine on the clinical diagnosis and treatment of jaundice and provide ideas and basis.Methods From the retrospective medical records that have been scaned into the image format,the medical records of Chinese medicine diagnosed with jaundice from 1960 to 1978 are screened out.The medical records must be treated mainly with Chinese medicine and have relatively complete medical records,including: Admissi on records,Duration Record,Prescription information of Chinese medicine,Check information and so on.Exclusion of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment information is not com plete,no traditional Chinese medicine treatment and death of medical records.Establish a database using an electronic medical record system for medical records that meet the inclusion criteria.The data of the Symptoms,Signs,Tests,Examinations,Medical advice and other information to standard-ize,structured input,the data pretreatment,the use of clust-ering analysis,complex networks and other data mining methods and statistical methods,mining a nalysis of jaundice syndromes Characteristics,core prescription,eff icacy characteristics.Results1.Descriptive analysis of data1.1 Analysis of general information In this study,there were 520 cases of Chinese medicine dia-gnosed with jaundice from 1960 to 1978,among which there were278 cases in 1961-1969 and 242 cases in 1970-1978.Among them,389 were male patients,Accounting for 74.81%.131 patients were female,Accounting for 25.19%,male-based;Which the youngest13 years old,the oldest 78 years old,mainly concentrated in the age of 15-50 years old,mainly young,middle-aged;calculate the patient’s hospital stay,Which the shortest hospital stay 7 days,the longest stay in 235 days,the hospital stay mainly concentrated in 29-40 days.1.2 Diagnostic characteristics of the situation In this study,all the medical diseases included in the dia-gnos is of jaundice were diagnosed as fever,cold,accumulation,exoge nous fever in 7 cases;syndrome diagnosis was Mainly yellow(516 cases),Less yellow(4(40 cases),Early cirrhosis(16 cases),Ac ute jaundice type of infectious hepatitis(14 cases),Chronic(1)cases of acute jaundice hepatitis(409 cases),followed by jaundice hepatitis Hepatitis(13 cases)and so on.Can be seen in this study included jaundice for liver-derived jaun-dice,which is mainly for acute jaundice hepatitis as the main manifestation of acute hepatitis.But also contains 67 cases of chronic liver disease,Such as schistosomiasis,chronic heap-titis,cirrhosis and so on.1.3 previous disease analysis In the prescription,and exploratory accor ding to biochemical indicators of jaundice history of the efficacy of the analysis,based on the effective medical records of the divisi on of prescriptions,Extract 10 categories of core side.Through the study of "card-cure-effect" in the treatment of jaundice in 19 y ears in Hubei Province,It can be seen that although this period is in the low period of academic
