Objectives:Based on the household survey of rural residents in Xinjiang,to understand the health status and health service demand and utilization status of rural residents in Xinjiang and depth analysis of the main factors affecting the demand and utilization of rural residents’ health services in Xinjiang and put forward relevant policy suggestions for their influencing factors,to improve the health status and health service utilization of rural residents in Xinjiang,improve the health level and quality of life of rural residents,optimize the allocation of health resources,and provide reference for further promoting the development of health service in rural areas of Xinjiang..Method:In this study,according to geographical distribution and economic development level,the stratified random sampling method is used to select the questionnaire survey from six regions / autonomous prefectures in northern and southern of Xinjiang.Combined with literature analysis,expert consultation,qualitative interviews,questionnaire survey.Result:The survey investigate a total of 1080 households,the total number of 4437 people.The prevalence of the two weeks are 14.38%,the prevalence of chronic diseases was 11.20%,lower than the fifth national health service survey in 2013.The survey results of rural residents is 8.68% in two weeks.Treatment rate of 39.81%,the residents do not visit the main reason is self-susceptible light.59.45% of residents who do not receive treatment had taken self-medical treatment for the disease.Residents hospitalization rate is 9.42%,residents should be hospitalized hospitalized rate of 23.16%,self-susceptible light for residents should not be hospitalized the main reason.The factors that affect the prevalence of two weeks is the regional,ethnic,age,educational level,average monthly income,whether suffering from chronic diseases.The factors that affect the prevalence of chronic diseases is ethnic,age,occupation,marital status,educational level,average monthly income.The factors that affect the rate of visits to residents for two weeks is national and educational level.Factors affecting the hospitalization rate ofresidents are areas and occupations.Conclusion:Health service need of Xinjiang rural residents is not large,health service utilization rate is not high,residents self-treatment is more serious.Residents use a higher level of hospitalization services,but the potential of hospital demand is large.Outpatient and hospital medical treatment are unreasonable,the advantages of township hospitals did not get full useful.Residents ’awareness of self-care is the main reason for the improvement of residents’ health service utilization.Should focus on the southern region,minority residents,the elderly,the lower education level residents,the lower average monthly income residents,divorced residents of the health services needs.Depend on the characteristics of rural areas of Xinjiang,we suggest :focus on the needs of vulnerable groups of health services,to carry out different levels of health services;Strengthen the construction of grassroots health service system to meet the needs of residents health services;Implement the government management,improve the grassroots medical institutions compensation mechanism;Strengthen health education,improve residents’ awareness of self-care;Improve the construction of tertiary medical network,and guide residents to seek medical treatment;Optimize the grassroots talent team,to mobilize the enthusiasm of medical staff. |
