Objective:To observe the clinicaleffect of suspension therapy on trunk control ability in children with spastic cerebral palsy, and to discuss its effect on trunk control ability, gross motor function and activities of daily living. To provide a theoretical basis for its clinical application in the future.Method:According to the random number table(Table 1),60 children with spastic cerebral palsy meeting the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the treatment(n=30)and control groups(n=30).Both groups took cluster acupuncture on scalp points by retaining long time and routine rehabilitation therapy.Interventions in experimental group were based on these training above, withsuspension therapy.Trunk control ability, gross motor function and activities of daily living were measured respectively by Dynamic balance testand training system,Gross motor function(GMFM-88)rating scale(Table 2),and Children's activities of daily living(ADL)scale given by Chinese rehabilitation research center(Table 3)before and after the treatment.Results:1.Before treatment, there was no significant difference between two groups of children in trunk anterior-posterior standard deviation, trunk left-right standard deviation and trunk total standard deviation(P>0.05).After treatment, all indexes above were lower than before treatment(P<0.01)in both groups;the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05);2.Before treatment, there was no significant difference between two groups of children in Gross motor function(GMFM-88)scores(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores were improved(P<0.01)in both groups.;the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);3.Before treatment, there was no significant difference between two groups of children in Children's activities of daily living scores(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores were improved(P<0.01)in both groups;the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);Conclusions:1.Suspension therapy combined with routine rehabilitation therapy has obvious promoting effect for trunk control ability in children with spastic cerebral palsy;2.Suspension therapy combined with routine rehabilitation therapy can significantly improve the gross motor function for children with spastic cerebral palsy;3.Suspension therapy combined with routine rehabilitation therapy can significantly improve the abilities to activities of daily living for children with spastic cerebral palsy.
