Research On Relationship Among Family Caregiver Burden,Coping Style And Social Support Of Elderly Hemodialysis Patients

Objectives:To investigate the family caregiver burden of elderly hemodialysis patients,coping style and social support status quo in Changchun,to study the effect of general demographic factors on the burden of caregivers,to analysis the correlation between the three,to explore the effects of perceived social support as the mediator on the relationship between family caregiver burden and coping style,So as to provide effective evidence for intervention strategies of reduce the burden of family caregivers in elderly hemodialysis patients.Methods:The study was dawn in Changchun from July to November in 2016,190 elderly hemodialysis patients and main family caregivers from Blood Purification Center as research subjects by convenience sampling method and Conduct a questionnaire survey.A questionnaire containing the general status questionnaire,the Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),the Zarit Burden Interview(ZBI),the Trait Coping Style Questionnaire(TCSQ),the Perceived Social Support Sca Ie(PSSS).The effective questionnaire was inputted by Epidata3.1,Statistical analysis of data selection SPSS17.0 software,Data analysis method mainly used descriptive statistical analysis,t test,single factor analysis of variance,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods.Results:1.The burden of family caregivers in elderly hemodialysis patients was(39.95±12.95)points,of which 91% of elderly patients with hemodialysis were at a mild to moderate level.2.Single factor variance analysis of data shows that caregivers demographic factors:degree of education,daily care time,family per capita monthly income,religious beliefs,health condition and relationships with family members have a statistically significant on the burden score(P<0.05).Patients general demographic factors:combined chronic disease,pension level and daily activities have a statistically significant on the burden score(P<0.05).3.Multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that factors such as university,poor relationship with family members,activities of daily living,senior middle school,family monthly income lower 1000 RMB,religious belief enter into the regression equation,is the influencing factor of the caregiver burden,explaining 38.8% of the total variation.4.The positive coping style of elderly hemodialysis patients' family caregivers' score was(35.04±6.24)points,the negative coping style score was(24.37±6.31)points,and the scores were higher than the norm.5.The perceived social support of elderly hemodialysis patients family caregivers' score was(64.35±10.79)points,of which the family support dimension score(22.68±4.61)points,out of family support dimension score(41.67±7.78)points.6.Correlation analysis showed that the family burden of caregivers of elderly hemodialysis patients was negatively correlated with positive coping style(P<0.05),positively correlated with negative coping style(P<0.05).Negatively correlated with perceived social support(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between positive coping and perceived social support(P<0.05).Negative coping and perceived social support were negatively correlated(P<0.05).7.Perceived social support played a partial mediating effect between caregivers burden and positive coping style,the size of the mediating effect is-0.2501,and the proportion of mediating effect was 42.91%.Perceived social support also played a partial mediating role between caregiver burden and negative coping,the ratio of mediating effect was 0.1899,and the proportion of mediating effect was 27.77%.Conclusion:1.The burden of family caregivers of most elderly patients with hemodialysis is at a mild to moderate level,the possible influencing factors about the caregiver burden included educational status,daily care time,family per capita monthly income,religious beliefs,health condition,relationships with family members,combined chronic disease,pension level,daily activities.2.There were differences in positive coping style,negative coping style of elderly hemodialysis patients family caregivers' and domestic norm.3.The relationship of elderly hemodialysis patients family caregivers burden,coping style,perceived social support were pairwise correlation.4.Perceived social support plays a partial mediating role in the coping style on the impact of caregivers burden.
