| ObjectiveTo explore the effectivenes of anxiety,depression and quality of life of supportive psychological intervention in patients with rectal cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy.To develop a supportive psychological intervention in patients with rectal cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy nursing plan.To provide a theoretical basis for the psychological intervention for the patients with rectal cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapy treatment.Methods1.100 patients were selected in the Department of gastroenterological surgery of a top three hospital from January 2016 to June 2016.And all prepared to receive the treatment of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Patients in the first two months were selected as control group(n=50 cases)and the patients in the last two months as intervention group(n=50 cases).Patients from the control group were given routine care,such as health assessment,collective teaching,explain related knowledge and telephone counseling.The psychological intervention group were given the appropriate psychological intervention.2.Enrolled patients were assessed with the general questionnaire,behavioral rating scale(Zung’s Self-Rating Depression Scale,Zung’s Self-Rating Anxiety Scale)and EORTC QLQ-CR30 Scale for assessment of the quality of life before chemotherapy,and after 2 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.3.Data was analyzed by SPSS19.0.Measurement data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation in the form of description;count data were described using frequency and percentage;two sets of data were compared using independent samples t-test,chi-square test or non-parametric tests.Results1.In the survey,the valid sample finally contained 90 patients,44 patients in the control group,46 cases in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two group in general information,the score of depression,anxiety and the quality of life.2.The anxiety self-rating scale scores of patients who participate both before and after nursing psychological intervention had significant difference(P<0.05),the after the intervention scores was lower than that before treatment,treatment factors(i.e.psychological Nursing intervention)was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Psychological nursing before and after intervention in patients with depression self-rating scale scores had significant difference(P<0.05),after the intervention was lower than that before treatment,treatment factors(i.e.psychological nursing intervention)was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.According to the quality of life,through psychological nursing intervention,psychological nursing intervention group patients with rectal cancer in the field of function,including body image,sexual function,sexual satisfaction and future expectations.And the symptoms of areas including urinary problems,gastrointestinal symptoms,bowel problems,issues related to the stoma,male sexual problem,female sexual problems and weight loss in the field of improvement was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but not significant in terms of improving the side effects of chemotherapy,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion1.The supportive psychological nursing intervention is a safe and effective intervention style.It can effectively alleviate the anxiety,alleviate depression and improve the quality of life.2.The supportive psychological nursing intervention is a easy intervention style.We can promote this intervention style. |
