Objective: To observe the clinical effect on treating the hyperplasia of mammary gland by acupuncture with the meridian syndrome differentiation,so as to provide new methods and ideas for acupuncture treatment of this disease.Methods: 70 patients were selected from the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine as the research subjects,and divided into group A and B using randomized controlled method,35 cases for each group.Group A was the treatment group and treated by the meridian syndrome differentiation acupuncture treatment,while group B by the conventional acupuncture treatment as control group.Each group was treated 3 times a week and 2 courses in total with 12 times for one course,and there was a break of one week between the first and the second course.Following,the effect was evaluated by the standard of curative effect evaluation before the teartment and after the treatment of first and the second course,which was adopted in the 8th meeting by the Professional Committee of Mammary Gland Disease of Surgical Societyin Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and analyzed by the statistics.Results: According to the standard,differences were statistically significant that the two group were compaired with P<0.05 on the scores of breast pain and lump size.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.63%,while the control group was 84.85%,and the comparison was significant between the two group with P<0.05.Conclusion: This study shows that the effect is significant in treating mammary gland hyperplasia by acupuncture with meridian syndrome differentiation.As a result,the therapy of meridian syndrome differentiation has a broad application prospect in clinic,for the treatment group has a great effect in improving the degree of breast pain and the size of the lump in patients compared to the control group. |
