Background and Objective Amblyopia is a common disorder of eye disease during children’s vision development,which is characterized by abnormal vision acuity and binocular function.Amblyopia often occurs in the early childhood of visual development.The amblyopia often has reduced best corrective visual acuity,decreased CSF and deficit stereopsis.Additionally,amblyopia also affect the eye movement system.Numerous of previous research showed that the visual acuity of amblyopia can be recovered to normal levels and the stereopsis can be improved after regular amblyopia treatment.However,whether the binocular function has been fully treated still need further research and exploration.However,previous research have shown that treated amblyopes remain deficient in contrast sensitivity,so we have no idea whether other vision function of treated amblyopes have recovered to normal level,which still need further research and exploration.In our research,we will study the treated amblyopes form stereopsis,binocular function and microsaccades.Methods1.104 treated amblyopia were screened from the ophthalmology outpatient department from June 2015 to July 2016,male 54 cases,female 50 cases,aged from 6 to 18;Anisometropia amblyopia 36 cases,refractive amblyopia 34 cases,strabismus amblyopia 34 cases;30 cases of mild,51 cases of moderate,23 cases of severe;Selection criteria: all patients were followed for more than a year time.All with the best corrective visual acuity around 0.8 and the visual acuity of two eyes were less than two lines.The visual acuity is not decline during fellow-up,they all have a healthy body.All the participants were exanimated by slit lamp and direct ophthalmoscope,eliminating organic eye disease,mental development is normal,all of them can understand and cooperate with the inspection.Titmus stereogram was used to test stereoacuity,the participants wear their regular glasses before Titmus stereogram examination.The results was analyzed by SPSS 16.0 statistical software,the chi-square test was used to analyze the results.2.14 treated anisometropia amblyopia were screened from experiment 1 randomly as experimental group,ages range 6 to 11 years old,and 15 normal children were screened as the control group,ages range 7 to 11 years old,all the participants were tested by Matlab procedures(balance point measurement),RDS stereogram was used to test stereoacuity.3.11 treated amblyopia were screened from experiment 1 randomly as experimental group,male 4 cases,female 7 cases,aged from 6 to 12 years old;Selection criteria: all patients were followed for more than a year time.All with the best corrective visual acuity around 1.0 and the visual acuity of two eyes were less than two lines.The visual acuity is not decline during fellow-up,they all have a healthy body.5 normal children age matched were screened,male 3 cases,female 2 cases,aged from 6 to 11 years old.All the participants were exanimated by slit lamp and direct ophthalmoscope,eliminating organic eye disease,mental development is normal,all of them can understand and cooperate with the inspection.Eyelink-1000(Canada SR Research)was used to record the eye movement.Results(1)There was significant deferent among the three groups refractive errors,anisometropia and strabismus group(χ~2= 11.294,p < 0.05);The stereopsis of patients with different degree of amblyopia difference was statistically significant(χ~2 = 13.455,p < 0.05);The stereopsis of different primary age difference was statistically significant(χ~2 = 11.263,p < 0.05);The stereopsis of Binocular and monocular amblyopia groups is no statistically significant difference(χ~2 = 0.646,p > 0.05).(2)There is significantly different on the stereoscopic visual function between treated anisometropia amblyopia group and normal control group t(27)= 1.487,P = 0.038,P <0.05).There is significantly different between treated anisometropia amblyopia group and normal control group on the balance point.t(27)= 4.907,P = 0.000,P < 0.001).(3)The amplitude of microsaccade in treated amblyopia is decreased,the peak angular velocity of microsaccade in treated amblyopia is decreased,and there is no significant difference between the treated amblyopia and the normal controls.The average amplitude of treated amblyopia is 0.83±0.02;The average amplitude of normal control is 0.87±0.03.The average peak angular velocity of treated amblyopia is 51.96±0.78;The average peak angular velocity of normal control is 54.23±1.54.(4)The rate of mocrosaccade is arise,there is significant difference between the treated amblyopia and the normal controls,p < 0.01.The average rate of mocrosaccade in treated amblyopia is 1.66±0.07;The average rate of mocrosaccade in normal control is1.34±0.07.Conclusion(1)The visual acuity of different kinds of amblyopia could recovered to normal level after regular amblyopia treatment,however,the stereoacuity has not recovered to normal level,it is necessary to take exercise to improve binocular function.As a result,the stereoacuity is considered to be a standard to evaluate the effect of amblyopia treatment.(2)The stereopsis and the balance point of treated anisometropia amblyopia is lower than the normal controls.(3)There is liner relationship between amplitude and the peak velocity of microsaccade.The amplitude of microsaccade in treated amblyopia is decreased,the peak velocity of microsaccade in treated amblyopia is decreased,and there is no significant difference between the treated amblyopia and the normal controls.The rate of mocrosaccade is increased,there is significant difference between the treated amblyopia and the normal controls.(4)The application of Balance point is a very elaborate tool in evaluate the vision function of amblyopia.(5)The application of microsaccade can be quantitative and objective method in evaluate the eye movement function.(6)Rapid eye movement record for objective evaluation of the eye movement function has critical clinical value.
