| Object: 1.To explore the intrinsic mechanism of herb-medicine-cake-separated moxibustion to promote the repair of damaged vascular endothelium to atherosclerosis(AS),and to provide relevant experimental basis and theoretical support for the clinical application of herb-medicine-cake-separated moxibustion in AS;2.To elucidate the effect of herb-medicine-cake-separated moxibustion on the regulation of VEGF and SDF-1 in serum of atherosclerotic rabbits.Methods: 1.Feeding Preparation of AS rabbit model of success through high cholesterol,with its herb-medicine-cake-separated moxibustion and direct moxibustion for the intervention,atorvastatin as a positive control,continuous treatment for 4 weeks;2.The changes of blood lipid in rabbits were measured by enzymatic methods;3.Serum levels of VEGF and SDF-1 were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA);4.The morphological structure of rabbit aortic wall was observed under optical microscope.Result: 1.Level rabbit lipids: Compared with the normal group,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the serum of the model group were significantly increased,and the level of HDL-C was significantly decreased(P <0.01);Compared with the model group,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the serum of the treatment group were significantly decreased and the HDL-C levels were significantly increased(P <0.05 or P <0.01);2.The levels of SDF-1 in rabbit serum:Compared with the model group,the serum SDF-1 levels in the treatment group were increased(P <0.05 or P <0.01).3.The levels of VEGF in rabbit serum:Compared with the model group,the serum VEGF levels in the treatment group were increased(P <0.05 or P <0.01).Conclusion: 1.Herb-medicine-cake-separated moxibustion on AS rabbit lipid metabolism has a good regulation.2.Herb-medicine-cake-separated moxibustion can increase the expression of SDF-1 and VEGF and promote the repair of damaged vascular endothelium to play its anti-AS effect. |
