Analysis On 30814 Cases Of Hospitalized Children From 2004 To 2013

Objective Here we analyze the expenses and situations of children patients who were ill in hospital.This study aims to provide the basis for reasonable arrangement of healthy,developing a Disease Control and program and strengthening hospital management.Methods To study the medicare expenses and conditions,the 30814 inpatients who are in our hospital in the period of 2004-1-1 to 2013-12-31 are chosen.The collected datum include: the first pages of their medical records and their age,sex,length of hospital and number,condition of in hospital,curative effect,the kind of disease,single disease hospital costs,the costs in different age in hospital,etc.We study the corresponding influence to the hospitalization costs of these factors by statistical analysis.Using SPSS 16.0 package,the social characters for datum are statistically described,which included statistical description,normality test,the test and chi-square test,etc.Companding with speciality and datum of medical records,we evaluate the costs of hospitalization and the related situations of the children in hospital.Results1)1-years of age children are most in datas.2)The number of in patients increases from 2004 to 2008.The number of in patients in2009 and 2010 slightly decrease.The increase amplitude of the number of patients in 2011 is large.The increase amplitude of the number of patients in 2011 is small.3)26514 cases(85.07%)are common children,and 4600(14.93%)cases are danger children.Danger children in the neonatal period account for larger proportion.4)30289 children are cured,and the rate of curative is 98.30%,boys(98.52%,19358/19648)are more than girls(97.90%,10931/11166).5)The pecent of bronchopneumonia is 27.66%,the pecent of bronchitis is 12.67%,the pecent of upper respiratory inrection is 12.15%.So they are top three.6)Neonatal patients cost the most,the median is 4271.4(3175.2,6129.1).The hospitalization costs in January-group and 1-years old group are lower than those in the newborn group.7)Danger children cost more than common children.8)Per patient treatment costs rise year by year as a whole,medical expense costs is the largest,followed by medical expenses.9)The ratio of coverage ratio increased year by year,but integral level is still low.Conclusion The respiratory disease is a main disease in the children.Because of the high expense of neonatal disease,we should strengthen Maternal and Child Health Care,and take notice of the special diseases screening.It will be better to reduce incidence of children respiratory diseases and neonatal disease.It is necessary to encourage parents to buy health insurance.
