Objective Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)technique is the most direct and effective therapy method in acute myocardial infarction patients,whitch can relieve symptoms,improve prognosis and life quality by restoring blood flow in the infarct-related coronary artery in time.However,some patients can’t benefit from this procedure since the operation of PCI may cause myocardial damage and cardiovascular event after PCI.Trimetazidine(TMZ)is a kind of myocardial metabolic drugs,whitch is fully confirmed on the effectiveness and security in ischemic heart disease treatment.By watching cardiac troponin I(c Tn I)and high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),this study aims to discuss the effection of trimetazidine on the myocardial damage after PCI.Methods 70 patients who undergoing PCI for AMI at our department from July 2014 to July 2015 were included into this study,including 53 cases of male and 17 cases of female.These 70 patients were randomized into two groups:35 cases in trimetazidine group and 35 cases in control group.The same basic treatments,such as oxygen therapy,antiplatelet drug,statin,beta-blocker,angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor and nitrate ester were provided to the two groups,while the trimetazidine group were orally administrated trimetazidine 60 mg load dasage before PCI and 20 mg tid long-term use after.Serum levels of c Tn I and hs-CRP were measured before PCI,24 hours and 48 hours after.Record the cases of angina,recurrent myocardial infarction,death of coronary heart disease and readmission after PCI by clinical observation and telephone follow-up.Results 1.There were no difference in the serum level onf c Tn I between the tow groups before PCI(P>0.05);the level of c Tn I in two groups at 24 hours and 48 hours after PCI were obviously increased(P<0.05).The level was much higher in the control group than in the trimetazidine group,and there are significant differences(P<0.05).2.There were no difference in the serum level onf hs-CRP between the tow groups before PCI(P>0.05);The level of hs-CRP in two groups at 24 h and 48 h after PCI were obviously increased(P<0.05).The level was much higher in the control group than in the trimetazidine group,And there are significant differences(P<0.05).3.According to the follow-up,the rate of angina were obvious lower in the trimetazidine group(P<0.05),compared with the control group.And the rate of readmission is lower too.Conclusions TMZ can decrease the serum level of c Tn I and hs-CRP after PCI,limit the inflammatory reaction caused by PCI,reduce coronary artery reperfusion injury and the incidence of angina pectoris and readmission.
