Objective To achieve the prevalence of common chronic diseases and risk factors in the local flouting population, and to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and control of chronic diseases. Methods Baohe District in Hefei city is one of the Chinese floating population of chronic disease and its risk factors monitoring points in 2012.To research 304 Migrant Employees at 18 years old and above from six types of industries(manufacturing industry, wholesale and retail trade industry, hospitality and food services industry, social services industry, construction industry and other industries)by using a multi-stage occupational-stratified clustering sampling method. To collect the chronic disease and its risk factors by the face-to-face questionnaire interviews.Using SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis of the data.To analyze the factors influencing the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidemia with multiple factors logistic regression. Results 1.The prevalence of smoking and daily smoking among floating population was24.7% 、 21.4% respectively. The prevalence of smoking was different in different gender, age and industry, the difference was significant.Male adults had a higher prevalence than did females. The adults aged at 3030.3%had a higher prevalence than others. The prevalence was highest in construction industry(58.0%),and least in social services industry(2.0%).The exposure rate of Second-hand smoke was 63.8%.2.The prevalence of drinking among Floating population was 54.6%.The prevalence of drinking was different in different gender, education levels and industry, the difference was significant.Harmful drinking among Floating population was reported by 31.9%(63.6% for men,10.9% for women),and the proportion was also higher among males than that among females. The proportion of harmful drinking was different in different gender, education levels and industry, the difference was significant.3.26.6% reported daily consuming excessive red meat among the floating population.Insufficient intake of fruit and vegetables was reported 35.5%,insufficient intake of vegetables was reported 23.7%,insufficient intake of fruits was reported 81.6%.4.87.2% of the floating population were lack of physical exercise, and the proportion was different in different education levels and industry, the difference was significant. The proportion was highest in adults of primary school degree, and least among adults of college degree, was highest in planting and breeding industry, and least in social services industry.5.The awareness rate of height, weight, waist circumference was 55.6%,55.9%,23.0%respectively.The awareness rate was different in different industry, age, education levels and marital status, the difference was significant.6.The prevalence of overweight and obesity among floating population were 34.5% and13.2% respectively. The prevalence of overweight and obesity was different significantly among floating population in different age, gender, marital status and industry. The prevalence rate of central obesity was 44.4%(men 62.8% and women2.2%).7.31.6% of floating population had hypertension. The prevalence of hypertension was different significantly among different adults of gender, age, education levels, marital status, industry, smoking,BMI,central obesity.Gender, age and BMI were influencing factors of hypertension.Female was protective factors of hypertension.Old age, overweight and obesity(BMI≥24)were risk factors of hypertension. The awareness rate, treatment rate, control rate and management rate of hypertension were 20.8% 、85.0%、23.5% and 25.0% respectively8.10.9% of floating population had diabetes. The prevalence of diabetes was different significantly among different adults of gender, age,BMI,central obesity. The prevalence of diabetes was higher among males than that among females.central obesity were risk factors of diabetes. The awareness rate, treatment rate, control rate and management rate of diabetes were 15.2%,100.0%,40.0% and 40.0%respectively.9.It was found that 29.9% of floating population had dyslipidemia. The prevalence of high TC and high TG were 2.3%,7.9%.The prevalence of combined hyperlipidemia familial was 2.3%,low HDL-C was 22.4%.The prevalence of dyslipidemia was different significantly among different adults of gender, education levels, industry, smoking, drinking, vegetable intake,BMI,central obesity. The result of multiplicity is that male, insufficient intake of vegetables, overweight and obesity(BMI≥24.0)were risk factors of dyslipidemia.10.The prevalence of Stroke, myocardial infarction, asthma and cancer were 0.The prevalence of COPD,OAD,neck and waist diseases were 0.3%,3.0%,9.9%respectively.Conclusion The risk factors of NCDs among the floating population in Baohe district showed a higher level.Smoking, harmful drinking, consuming excessive red meat, insufficient intake of fruits was widespread among males, the construction industry was especially serious. The floating population were lack of physical exercise generally. The prevalence of hypertension and diabetes among floating population in Baohe district were at a higher level, and the awareness rate and the management rate was low. Most of hypertension and diabetes patients were unaware of their diagnosis.Part of the population who were aware of their diagnosis did not participate in the community’s basic public health service management. The floating population of male, higher age, overweight and obesity were the focus of the NCDs intervention.
