Objective:To investigate the influencing factors of sleep quality in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD) patients, and to discuss the associated factors of sleep quality. Methods:A total of 158 patients with MHD fitting the criteria were selected in the study. By collecting the general information and laboratory datas, combined with the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) scale, the self-made questionnaire was used to evaluate the sleep quality of MHD patients. Results: Among 158 cases of patients with MHD, the average age was 51.6± 16.4 years, the average dialysis time was 33.4± 21.3 months, the average PSQI value was 5.7± 3.3. Ninety-seven cases of patients’ PSQI score were more than 5 points, accounting for 61.39%, which suggested that sleep disorder was a common complication in maintenance hemodialysis patients and had a greater impact on the quality of life of patients. We found that the related factors, such as age, dialysis months, dialysis interval weight gain, dialysis methods, cholesterol, hemoglobin, calcium and phosphorus product, PTH, BNP, diabetic, refractory hypertension, etc, affected sleep quality of patients with MHD.By binary Logistic regression analysis,we found that dialysis interval weight gain(OR=7.262, p=0.000), dialysis methods(OR=3.968,p=0.009), cholesterol(OR=7.684, p=0.013), hemoglobin(OR=9.132, p=0.001) and PTH(OR=3.114,p=0.047)were independent risk factors for PSQI score of sleep quality in patients with MHD.Conclusion: The sleep quality of patients with MHD was affected by many factors, and the incidence of sleep disorders was high.We found that dialysis interval weight gain, dialysis methods, cholesterol, PTH, hemoglobin were the main risk factors, and we can improve the sleep quality of patients by intervening the above factors.
