Objectives To understand the cognitive function of hospitalized patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD), and analyze the factors that affect the cognitive function of COPD patients. Methods Select the September October 2014 to 2015 in North China and Department of respiratory medicine; the Affiliated Hospital of university hospital treatment in 261 cases of COPD, application general situation questionnaire, mini mental state(MMSE), activities of daily living volume table(ADL), Hamilton Anxiety Scale table(HAMA) of questionnaire survey, collecting demographic data of patients with COPD, clinical data and by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) contained apolipoprotein E(Apo E) level were measured.Using SPSS statistical software for statistical analysis, count data using frequency, measurement data using(?x ± s), single factor analysis using t test or analysis of variance, correlation analysis using Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate analysis to single factor analysis in statistical significance of the variables as independent variables, based on the Mini Mental State Scale score as the dependent variables were analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis. Results 1. MMSE total average score(24.51±2.12) in COPD patients, 135 cases of abnormal MMSE score. 2. The single factor analysis: age, urban and rural areas, education, income, smoking, regular exercise, anxiety, activities of daily living(ADL), diabetes, duration, Pa O2, Pa CO2, FEV1%, TC, TG 3 fat, serum apo E content of COPD patients with MMSE score, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). Elderly, rural, low educational level, long-term smoking, low income, poor self-care ability of the population MMSE score was low, the serum Apo E content and MMSE score was negatively correlated. 3 multivariate analysis showed that smoking, educational level, self-care ability,Pa O2 level, FEV1% predictive value and Apo E level were the influencing factors of MMSE score. Conclusions MMSE patients with low COPD score, some COPD patients with cognitive dysfunction. Smoking, education degree, ADL score, Pa O2 level, FEV1% predictive value,Apo E level were the influencing factors of MMSE score in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
