Differences of SCL-90 total score among different educationalgroups was statistically significant(F=6.336, P = 0.002);In addition to sensitivity, paranoid and psychotic, other factor score differences were statistically significant(P< 0.05).Differences of SCL-90 total score among different family type groups was statistically significant(F=10.269, P = 0.000);the difference of each factor score is also statistically significant(P< 0.05). Differences of SCL-90 total score among different environment satisfactiongroups was statistically significant(F=41.997, P = 0.000);the difference of each factor score is also statistically significant(P< 0.05).Differences of SCL-90 total score between the poor or not were statistically significant(F=44.468, P=0.000);the difference of each factor score is also statistically significant(P< 0.05).Differences of SCL-90 total score between family for three generations with or without mental illness patient were statistically significant(t=3.999, P=0.000); the difference of each factor score is also statistically significant(P< 0.05). Differences of SCL-90 total score between the ill or not were statistically significant(t=3.999,P=0.000); In addition toobsessive-compulsive symptoms andinterpersonalsensitivity, other factor score differences were statistically significant(P< 0.05). Differences of SCL-90 total score and each factor scorebetween participate in community or not were statistically significant(P< 0.05). Differences of SCL-90 total score and each factor scorebetween participate in party or not were statistically significant(P< 0.05).3Correlation analysis showed that happiness score with SCL- 90 scores show negative correlation(r = 1.883, P < 0.01), psychological know health scores and SCL- 90 total score also significantly negative correlation(r = 0.598, P < 0.01).(4)Multiple linear regression analysis, the results show that factors into the regression equation with the happiness score, marital status, family life happiness, satisfaction to the environment, whether life is monotonous, chacractor, the party and the family have three generations without mental illness. according to the size of the standard regression coefficient, the role of the biggest factors for happiness score(?= 0.426), followed by marital status(?= 0.097).Discussion: Mental health status of the residents of Hainan province is not optimistic and happiness score, marital status, charactor, satisfaction to the environment, family life and family type varying degrees have impacts on residents' mental health.
