Objective: This thesis is to observe the effect of Zhenwu Decoction on chronic heart failure as well as changes in the HRV of patients with chronic heart failure(Yang deficiency and water flood), and to explore the possible mechanism to provide certain basis for the clinical treatment of chronic heart failure.Methods: Patients with chronic heart failure who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the experiment group and the control group. In the control group, people were given basic treatment. The experiment group use both Zhenwu Decoction and the basic treatment as a treatment for four weeks. To record the improvement of the cardiac function and the TCM syndromes as well as HRV values before and after treatment. HRV include time domain indicators(SDNN, SDANN, RMSSD, PNN50) and frequency domain indicators(LF, HF).Results:1.After treatment, the TCM syndromes and heart function of both groups were significantly better than that before treatment(P <0.05), and the TCM syndrome integral decreased significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01). The experiment group was better than the control group.2. After treatment, the left ventricle ejective fraction, stroke volume and left ventricular end diastolic diameter of both groups were significantly better than that before treatment(P <0.05). Compared with the control group, the left ventricle ejective fraction, stroke volume and left ventricular end diastolic diameter of the experiment group improved more significantly after treatment(P <0.05).3. After treatment, SDNN, SDANN, RMSSD, HF, LF of both groups were significantly higher than that before treatment(P <0.05, p <0.01), PNN50 were significantly lower(P <0.05, P <0.01). Compared with the control group, SDNN SDANN, RMSSD, HF, LF of the experiment group increased more significantly after treatment(P <0.05), PNN50 decreased more significantly(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.The HRV of patients with chronic heart failure decreased significantly, and the severer the heart failure, the lower the HRV.2. The treatment that combined Zhenwu Decoction with basic treatment can significantly improve the TCM syndromes and heart function, improve the left ventricle ejective fraction, stroke volume and left ventricular end diastolic diameter, and improve the HRV of patients with CHF. The mechanism may be related to inhibition of the sympathetic nerve, excitation of the vagus nerve, and restorations of the balance between the sympathetic nerve and the vagus nerve. |
