Objective: The purpose of the study is to observe the clinical efficacy of using Modified Qing Xin Lian Zi Yin in treating Recurrent urinary tract infection in patients,and to explore the party on the mechanism of treating this disease, and to provide new methods and new ideas in treating of recurrent urinary tract infection based on the combination of Chinese and Western medicine.Methods : The study includes 60 patients who were in Shandong Province hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shangdong Province-owned Hospital from April 2014 to February 2014.They were divided into 2 groups randomly,and the experimental group had 30 patients, and the control group had 30 patients. The control group was given antibiotics treatment stage reduction method, the experimental group was treated with the Modified Qingxinlianziyin on the basis of zhe control group. Having finished a-12-week experiment, the author selected a radom inspection of 6 weeks and recorded the changes of the total score of TCM syndrome,white blood cells,red blood cells and Urine culture before and after a-12-week treatment.Results:A total of 59 patients completed the 12 weeks of observation.(1)The total Clinical effective rate: the experimental group having clinical cured 17 people, having effect on 9 people, being invalid of 4 people, and the total effective rate was 86.67%; the control group, having clinical cured 17 people, having effect on 9 people, being invalid of 4 people, and the total effective rate was 62.07%. The experimental group was more better than the control group by the comparison between the two groups(P<0.05).(2) The change of urine test results :It showed that the changes of white blood cells, red blood cells in Urine routine, were decreased significantly after the treatment. The experimental group were decreased significantly than the control group(P < 0.05).(3) The efficacy of TCM:the experimental group having 18 clinical cured people, having effect markedly on 5 people,having effect on 23 people, being invalid of 5 people. The total effective rate was 83.3%. The control group, having 6 clinical cured people,having markedly effect on 5 people and having effect on 2 people, being invalid of 16 people. The total effective rate was 55.2%. It showed that the experimental group was better than the control group by the comparison between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:It shows that Modified Qingxinlianziyin combined with Western medicine antibiotics in the treatment of recurrent urinary tract infection can reduce patient’s clinical symptoms and the recurrence rate effectively.
