Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis (Damp Heat Mixed Type) With Banxia Xiexin Decoction Modified

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical effect of Banxia Xiexin Decoction Modified for treating ulcerative colitis(damp heat mixed type),by comparing with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets,we can objectively evaluat the efficacy and safety of Banxia Xiexin decoction modified.Method: 60 cases are randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each.On the basis of were performed in traditional Chinese medicine retain enema,the treatment group was given oral Banxia Xiexin Decoction Modified,the control group was given oral Mesalazin Enteric-coated Tablets(5 aminosalicylic acid).Two groups are treated continuous for four weeks with the symptoms,signs recorded before and after the treatment,than make a statistical analysis of the observation indexes.Result: After the treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,significantly higher than that of the control group 73.33%(P<0.05).Comparison of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,there is a significant difference in mucopurulent bloody stool(P < 0.01);There was significant difference in diarrhea,dry mouth mouth bitter,anus burning pain,abdominal pain(P<0.05);in the treatment of fever and scanty dark urine,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The TCM symptoms total score,two groupsand between groups were compared,there were significant differences(P<0.01).During the treatment,there are no adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion: Banxia Xiexin Decoction Modified oral treatment of ulcerative colitis(damp heat mixed type),can significantly improve symptoms,more effective and safer than the application of enteric-coated tablets of mesalazine(5 aminosalicylic acid).
