| Objective: To study the effect of Electroacupuncture on the expression of HIF-1a and VEGF in the injured spinal cord of rats with spinal cord injury.Methods: Copy the model of spinal cord injury in female SD rats with spinal cord clamping method,Third days after successful modeling,the rats were randomly divided into Jiaji group,stomach meridian group and injury control group,using electroacupuncture Jiaji acupoint,acupuncture of Foot Yangming Meridian and non use of acupuncture treatment.The neurological function scores were evaluated by using BBB scoring method in the rats of each group on a regular basis.Rats were killed 14 days after treatment,spinal cord segments were collected from rats.HE staining was used to observe the damage of tissue,and the expression of HIF-1a and VEGF protein were compared by immunohistochemistry staining,the expression of HIF-1a and m RNA in and VEGF of rats were compared by q RT-PCR..Results: There were no significant differences in the BBB scores of the rats in each group before treatment and 1 weeks after treatment,After 2 weeks of treatment BBB score: Yangming group > Jiaji group > The control group.HE staining showed that the spinal cord injury in each group was consistent with the performance of its functional score.Immunohistochemical staining showed that the expression of HIF-1a in the 7 day of electroacupuncture intervention:The control group > Yangming group > Jiaji group;Electro acupuncture on day 14: Yangming Meridian group > Jiaji group > control group,expression of Yang Ming group : the 7 day < 14 days,expression of Jiaji group expression: the 7 day < 14 days,expression of the control group was: the 7 day > the 14 days.The expression of VEGF in the 7 day of electroacupuncture intervention:The control group > Yangming group > Jiaji group;Electro acupuncture on day 14: Yangming Meridian group > Jiaji group > control group,expression of Yang Ming group : the 7 day < 14 days,expression of Jiaji group expression: the 7 day < 14 days,expression of the control group was: the 7 day > the 14 days.q RT-PCR showed that the expression of HIF-1a in the 7 day of electroacupuncture intervention:Jiaji group > The control group > Yangming group;Electro acupuncture on day 14: Yangming Meridian group > Jiaji group > control group,expression of Yang Ming group : the 7 day < 14 days,expression of Jiaji group expression: the 7 day > 14 days,expression of the control group was: the 7 day > the 14 days.The expression of VEGF in the 7 day of electroacupuncture intervention:Jiaji group > The control group > Yangming group;Electro acupuncture on day 14: Yangming Meridian group > Jiaji group > control group,expression of Yang Ming group : the 7 day < 14 days,expression of Jiaji group expression: the 7 day < 14 days,expression of the control group was: the 7 day > the 14 days..Conclusion(s): Electro acupuncture can improve the recovery of functional disability after SCI by increasing the expression of HIF-1a and VEGF protein and m RNA in injured spinal cord segment.And the optimal intervention time of Electroacupuncture of stomach meridian of Foot Yangming dysfunction of SCI after treatment was 1 weeks after the injury. |
