Clinical Study Of Bushenjianpihuoxuefang On The Treatment Of Senile Osteoporosis

1 Objective To observe the decoction of Bushenjianpihuoxuefang with theefficacy of tonifying the kidney invigorating the spleen activating blood changes the values of bone mineral density, Visual analoge scale( abbreviation VAS) score, Oswesty disability score and clinical symptoms on senile osteoporosis between before and after treatment. The study also provides a basis forthe development of new medicine. A preliminary assessment conclusion is that Bushenjianpihuoxuefang has the comprehensive curative effect on the treatment of senile osteoporosis. The recipe provides data for diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine on this disease, and guides the clinical application.2 Methods1. Clinical research1.1 The object of research: 60 cases of senile osteoporosispatients in line with the diagnostic standard of osteoporosis visit in Wuhu City Hospital from February 2014 to September 2015.1.2 Research method: Using prospective randomized controlled trial study, 60 cases of senile osteoporosis patients in line with the diagnostic standard of osteoporosis visit in Wuhu City Hospital from February 2014 to September 2015. Those who met study criteria are randomly divided into the control group and the observation group in accordance with single and double number of the medical registration number,30 patients in each group. Two groups of patients are given conventional western oral medicine to treat osteoporosis. The observation group is treated with Bushenjianpihuoxuefang, at the same time of taking western oral medical. Two groups of patients are treated for 12 weeks(three months).30 cases patients of the control group are given a piece of western medicine Vitamin D chewable tablets chewing once daily,and 0.25 g / pill of Calcitriol Soft Capsules once daily. 30 cases patients of the observation group are given Bushenjianpihuoxuefang on the basis of the above treatment interval for 30 minutes. The lumbocrural pain VAS score, Oswesty disability score and values of bone mineral density of 1 day before treatment and 12 weeks treatment of every patient is detailed recorded. Bone mineral density is measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Then the obtained data is statistically analyzed the differences of the two groups after treatment.3 Results Observing clinical experiment research suggests that the control group and the observation group have positive effect for VAS score, Oswesty disability score and bone mineral density of senile osteoporosis. However, the total effective rate of the observation group by Bushenjianpihuoxuefang after 12 weeks of treatment is 96.67%and the observation group is 93.33%. The curative effect of the observation group is better than the control group(p<0.05).Compare the control group and the observation group before and after treatment, VAS score, Oswesty disability score and bone mineral density are statistically significant.The lumbocrural pain VAS score of the control group after treatment is(3.24±1.10), and the observation group is(2.35±0.83), obviously lower than before treatment(p<0.05).The observation group is significantly better than the control group, and compared with the control group, the observation group has more statistically significant(p<0.05).Oswesty disability score of the control group after treatment is(0.2544±0.0604), and the observation group is(0.2126±0.0485), obviously lower than before treatment( p<0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group has more statistically significant( p<0.05). Bone mineral density of the control group after treatment is(-2.99±0.19), Compared with before treatment, no statistically significant difference(p>0.05).and the observation group is(-2.73±0,22), obviously higher than before treatment(p<0.05). The elevated level of the observation group is significantly higher than the control group, compared with the control group, the observation group has more statistically significant(p<0.05).4 Conclusion Bushenjianpihuoxuefang is an effective prescription of traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of senile osteoporosis. It can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of senile osteoporosis patients, increase bone mineral density, improve the quality of life of patients combination with Vitamin D chewable tablets and Calcitriol Soft Capsules.
