ObjectTo explore the application of the operative techniques oflaparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC) for calculous atrophic cholecystitis andapplication value.MethodsA retrospective analysis was performed for264cases of calculousatrophic cholecystitis who underwent LC from2010.1to2014.1inDepartment of Hepatobiliary Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital ofChongqing Medical University.Initial approach was used in laparoscopiccholecystectomy.Depending on the specific surgical approach patients weredivided into laparoscopic cholecystectomy group (226cases) andlaparoscopic cholecystectomy laparotomy group (28cases).Operative time, blood loss, postoperative hospital stay and postoperative complicationsbetween the2groups were compared. Measurement data using t test, enumeration data using the chi-square test. ResultsLC accomplished in226cases. The other38cases of cholecystectomywere accomplished with the method of turning to laparotomy. Operativetime, blood loss, postoperative hospital stay of Laparoscopiccholecystectomy group was less than laparoscopic cholecystectomylaparotomy group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Laparoscopic cholecystectomy laparotomy group incidence ofpostoperative complications (bile leakage, bleeding, wounds, lungs, urinarytract infection) compare laparoscopic cholecystectomy group, thedifference was statistically significant P <0.05)ConclusionsLaparoscopic surgery for chronic atrophic cholecystitis cansignificantly reduce operative time, blood loss, postoperative hospital stay, with great value and worthy of promotion. Treated differently tolaparoscopic cases, the use of appropriate surgical technique to safelycomplete surgical resection of atrophic cholecystitis.
