To explore the effect of seed priming treatment by melatonin on photosynthetic characteristics and growth and development of winter wheat,set up the experiment of the concentration of melatonin and priming time,field and pot experiment were carried to study the the treatment of four different concentration and three priming times on the effects of growth,dry matter accumulation dynamic and yield,to seek the best time and concentration and provide theoretical foundation of application of technology of seed priming by melatonin in crops.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The root length of winter wheat climb up and then decline with the increase of concentration of melatonin and is the best at the condition of time A and concentration T1.Seeding root activity are characterized by B>A>C,and were significantly higher than CK,BT1 treatment is best among them and increased by 55.5% than CK;root activity increased with the increasing of concentration,the concentration of T3 helps increasing root activity.2.Dry matter accumulation is the basis of yield formation.The differences of effect of dry matter accumulation by seed priming treatment was not significant,but were significantly higher than that of CK.After jointing stage,each treatment difference was increased.Under the condition of T0 concentration,the difference was not significant;Under the condition of concentration of T1,the biggest deal with differences in the filling stage,the treatment increased by 29.9%,25.4% and 16.6% than CK;Under the condition of T2 concentration,the treatment of A time significantly increased dry matter accumulation of wheat;Under the condition of T3 concentration,the biggest differences is in the filling stage,each treatment increased 44.8%,34.1%and 29.9% than CK respectively.3.All photosynthetic rate of each treatment is better under the condition of the T1 concentration.C time treatment can promote the photosynthetic rate of wheat under the condition of T0 and T3;A level can improve the photosynthetic rate of wheat in three leaf stage and four leaf stage.Each treatment increased by 6.6% ~ 20.4%,4.7% ~ 15.7% and 5.2% ~ 24.6%than CK,respectively.Filling stage,the difference of the condition on T0 and T3 concentration was no significantly,showed that melatonin can maintain the photosynthetic rate later and high concentration of melatonin inhibits the photosynthetic rate of wheat;Under the condition of T1 concentration,the treatment increased by 94.5%,87.3% and 32.7% respectively than CK;Under the condition of T2 concentration,only the treatment of A time is significantly higher than that of CK.4.The cholorophyll content of winter wheat in seedling stage is low.The chlorophyll content of each treatment increased under the condition of T0 concentration;the treatment of A time increased chlorophyll content of seedling stage;B treatment significantly increased the chlorophyll content of wheat under the condition of T2 concentration;A treatment improves the chlorophyll content of wheat in three leaf stage under the condition of the concentration of T3.With the development of growth period,the chlorophyll content of wheat reduced gradually,and melatonin treatment can reduce the degradation of chlorophyll,maintain wheat chlorophyll content at anaphasis,so as to maintain the photosynthetic rate of the leaves.5.The treatment of melatoninaffected wheat grouting rate.The highest strong grain of each treatment is CT3,and increased by 11.4% than CK;the highest weak grain is BT1,and increased by 27.4% than CK.The processing of grain weight was significantly higher than that of CK.6.Melatonin caused by increasing the number of ears,the ear number grain number and increase production together.The highest yield was AT1 treatment,and the yield of each treatment under the condition of T0,T1,T2 and T3 increased by 6.4% ~ 12.5%,13.7% ~ 26.2%,12.3% ~ 18.7% and 12.3% ~ 18.7%respectively than CK.The yield of each treatment under A,B and C conditions increased by 17.1%,17.1% and 15.0% respectively than CK on average.The highest spike number of winter wheat is AT1.Appropriate priming by melatonin can prove the grain number,the grain number of various concentrations increased by 7.1% ~ 15.1%,0.8% ~ 9.5% and 0.8% ~ 15.9% and 7.9% ~ 11.1% than CK respectively.
