With the acceleration of industrial development and modernization of the city,city greening also highlights more plays an important role in improvement of ecological environment,the protection of biological diversity,improve the city's comprehensive competitiveness.This article through the literature collection,field surveys and other methods,the system elaborated the historical changes of Nantong city greening,green space layout structure,plant species and configuration characteristics,the use of garden green chemistry,landscape ecology,conservation biology,city planning and other basic principles to further explore the prospects of urban greening of Nantong city.Nantong city garden green space distribution of landscape trees,belonging to 95 families,of which 25 evergreen trees,deciduous trees of 125 species,30 species of evergreen shrubs,deciduous shrub,lianas and 19 kinds of bamboo species richness,the landscape of Nantong is insufficient.Evergreen tree species and the ratio of 1:2.7,the number of individuals is 1:4.84,trees and Shrubs Species ratio is 1:0.59,the number of individuals is 1:2.9,the proportion of the number of species in the ever greens shrub species of evergreen trees ratio is low,low,resulting in a certain degree of plant level is not rich enough,monotonous landscape.2.the landscape of Nantong total distribution of native tree species is 168,accounting for 76.2%of the total number of species.These species were growing well,and thenative species in the index is higher than 0.7,indicating Nantong city in city landscapingto achieve the indigenous tree species in afforestation,continue to hold this direction,and continue to tap the potential of native plants,increase the variety and quantity of native tree species.3,on the basis of investigation and analysis of Nantong city should follow the principle of garden greening tree species in Nantong stock market,plants rich landscape diversity,dominance,and further optimize the configuration of tree species.4,to determine the proportion of greening tree species in evergreen and deciduous tree species:1:3 ratio of conifer and broadleaf trees;1:6;fast growing trees and slow growing trees should be 1:2;native species and introduced species ratio of 7:3 or 8:2 is appropriate:to determine the proportion of trees and shrubs in different proportions according to different types of green space green space,residential green space,1:4 is appropriate,the unit attached green 2:9 is appropriate,the road green space should be 1:4,protective green 2:1.
