| With the rapid development of China’s modern pet industry, pet breeding, pet clinic, pet grooming and care of the new occupation strong rapid innovation development,the pet medical and nursing staff needs and improve the quality of the urgent requirements,so the animal husbandry and veterinary medicine(PET) professional occupation education put forward new demands. However vocational curriculum Pet Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment, as a theory and practice requirements are very strong curriculum, existing only to teachers and textbooks as the center, to teach type teaching method teaching mode,unable to realize technical colleges training high skilled talents, which are unable to meet the requirement of technical talents in social production industry. Therefore, by changing the animal husbandry and veterinary medicine(PET) existing professional teaching mode,so that the talent training scheme and teaching mode in line with the requirements of the market demand of talents to meet the pet industry demand for professional skills and the quality of talents.The research to the Pet Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of curriculum reform as the breakthrough point, try to develop establish with students as the center, integration of theory and practice, can truly reflect the pet medical assistant job competency requirements of teaching system.According to the vocational education reform of the research background and development situation, development technology of integrated curriculum were studied. Combined with the Guangzhou City, senior technical schools to develop the Pet Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment integrated curriculum development program and the development process of, with two classes of the secondary vocational school three years of animal husbandry and veterinary professional(pet medical and nursing direction) students as the research object, by grade 2012 class 2 as the experimental class, with class 1 do as the control class. In the experimental class to carry out the implementation of theintegration of curriculum reform, and at the end of the third party evaluation methods, the assessment of the students of the two classes.The research results show that to carry out the practice of curriculum reform on the integration of the classroom of the experimental group, examination results excellent rate and pass rate were higher than those in the control group, respectively is 60% and 83.3%,significant difference in P<0.05,indicating that integration teaching is more conducive to student learning.This study also puts forward suggestions and prospects for the reform of the whole course. Through nearly three years the Pet Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment integrated curriculum development design, teaching practice, specific effect is reflected in: first, this teaching model can well cultivate students’ cooperation spirit, improve their ability of cooperation; second, this teaching mode increases an individual’s communication and improve communication ability; third, through mutual inspiration, discuss with each other,the individual oriented thinking.
