The common digestive tract parasites of horses are cause consumptions and malnutrition diseases. The clinical symptoms depend on the quantity of the parasites and its virulence, usually manifested as anemia, emaciation, poor growth of foals, mechanical damage leads to the secondary infection of enteritidis, intestinal infarction, intestinal rupture, aneurysm and even severe to death. The horse breeding management, effective prevention and control measures are imperfect, cause the loss of physique, quantity, quality and economy in horses. In this study, by using morphological, etiological and molecular methods investigated the common digestive tract parasites in Zhaosu county, detected common gastrointestinal parasite species and grasp the prevalence and epidemic dynamics. Then within the help from local animal husbandry and veterinary station`s clinical deworming trials, prevent targeted deworming and provide technical support for the integrated control of the local horse parasitosis could be made.(1) To understand the infection of common gastrointestinal parasites of horses in Zhaosu county, by morphological observation and etiology routine examination of Zhaosu Army horse breeding Farm, species identification and the point track dynamic survey of infection was operated. The results showed that the common gastrointestinal parasites in Zhaosu county are Strongylus equinu, Parascaris equorum, Capillaria, Triodontophorus, Oxyuria equi, Webster and Coccidia species, it is mostly mixed infection; and the digestive tract common parasites in horses exists whole year. April, August and December are the peak of infection, the average infection rate is 85.07%; 0~2-year-old and >8-year-old horses` infection rates are up to 99.4%, 90.08%. Experiments show that the best period for deworming are April,August and December. Meanwhile, pay attention to breeding environment and the infection factors of different ages of horses.(2) In order to understand the anthelmintic effect of local deworming drugs on common digestive parasites, Rafoxanide Suspension, Ivermectin injection are used on 159 horses which are form Army horse breeding Farm, horsebreeding cencer and villages. Experiment sets deworming group(with AB deworming drugs in both groups) and control group(without deworming drug group C), we observe and compared to the number of eggs in groups of two drugs deworming before and after the discharge of parasite species and other comprehensive determination, statistical analysis of egg reduction rate after deworming, negative rate, infection intensity repellent effect. The results show that group A, after deworming, the egg reduction rate was 98.73%, the eggs negative rate went up to 87.5%, and the infection intensity decreased an average of 8 /g. However, the result of group B showed the reduction rate was 76.3%, the average intensity of infection was 100 /g; the study found that using Rafoxanide Suspension could work better on some aspects, such as, reducing the rate of eggs infection and negative conversion.
