With the expansion of the scope of project management application,the domestic increasingly profound understanding of project management,project management as the core of the project schedule management is especially important,especially in building and construction industry.The progress control management of the construction stage plays a crucial role in ensuring the performance of the contract and the completion of the project.Under the influence of the "One Belt And One Road" policy in today's country,accelerating port construction is an important means to enhance the core competitiveness of the port,while the railway system is an important part of port facilities.How to apply the project progress management knowledge to railway construction is an important aspect of this thesis.The article mainly focuses on the railway construction of taiping wan port area as the case,analyzes the problems,and puts forward the solutions.The contents are as follows:The first chapter introduces the significance,background,development trend,research methods and technology roadmap of the research.The second chapter introduces the general situations of domestic and foreign port railway transportation industry and the Railway Company firstly,and then it described the project construction of Tai Ping bay railway and the problems appear in the process of project progress.The third chapter is case analysis,it mainly includes the content of the project schedule management,the tool method of the progress plan and the influencing factors of the progress control,etc.,and then analyzes the progress management problems that appear in the cases.The fourth chapter is regarding problem solution.It mainly uses planning review technique and key path method to answer questions raised in chapter 3 and to propose solutions.Chapter five conclusions:Through this research,the reader understands the project schedule plan and schedule control management is the key point of the construction progress,in order to make the project can be delivered on time and in good quality,avoid economic loss caused by the delay for all parties.Enterprises need to develop scientific and reasonable schedule,to strengthen the progress management control in the construction stage,and urge all parties involved to ensure that the actual project can be completed on schedule.
