Air traffic control system plays a key role in ensuring the safety,high efficiency and orderly operation for general aviation.ADS-B system with mode S function adopt bidirectional 1090 ES data-link technology which can not only meet with ground to air ADS-B surveillance and air to air traffic situation displaying requirements,but also combine the interrogation and reply function of previous ATC SSR.It is new type airborne equipment which is needed by civil aviation air traffic control urgently.At present,there is no bidirectional 1090 ES data link mode S transponder with mode S and ADS-B function which can apply for the general aircrafts in China.The related products are still in R&D phase in foreign countries,which required carrying out the design and implementation research for related equipment urgently.According to the surveillance equipment requirements from general aviation,the thesis proposed bidirectional 1090 ES data link mode S transponder which equipped with miniaturization,low power consumption and high reliability.The thesis carries out the related research from the following parts:1.Learn standards,read documents,study the status quo and trend of domestic and foreign technology development.2.General proposal design.Study the system composition,operation principle,operation mode,overall proposal design,and configuration of internal hardware module and hardware design of each module of bidirectional 1090 ES data link mode S transponder system.3.Hardware design.Complete the hardware design and realization of RF interface unit,receiving module,processing module,transmitting module,power supply module and control panel for bidirectional 1090 ES data-link mode S transponder.4.Software design.Complete the software requirement analysis,software function module division,software general design proposal,software design and constraint design of bidirectional 1090 ES data link mode S transponder.This thesis focused on process 1090 ES data link protocol design of software,set up and tracks the ADS-B target and maintenance for the design and implementation of software.5.System test verification.Test for the bidirectional 1090 ES data link mode S transponder prototype.Evaluate whether the function and the performance indicator of bidirectional 1090 ES data link mode S transponder prototype meet with the design requirement or not after analysis for the test result.At the end of this thesis,it summarizes the whole work and research direction in the future.
