With the rapid development of China's economy and social progress,urban motor vehicle holdings and travel rates have risen rapidly year after year.However,the slow development of road infrastructure construction and control level of traffic management lead to the problem of road congestion,environmental pollution and disequilibrium allocation of resources.After years of research,in order to solve the traffic problem,focusing on the development of public transportation will achieve a reasonable use of limited road traffic resources.Bus lanes priority can use methods of passive priority,active priority,real-time priority and other control methods to provide priority for public transport vehicles,thereby enhancing the level of public transportation services.In this paper,we study the two modes of bus priority,which are bus lane priority arterial coordinated control modes and bus lane priority arterial coordination control modes with social traffic flow,under the premise of maintaining the continuity of the operation of the bus and reducing the number of stops,the negative effects on other traffic flow has been reduced.First of all,this paper summarizes the research results at home and abroad during these years and elaborates the theoretical basis and advantages of bus priority,and compares the objectives,methods and strategies of bus priority control methods in detail.This paper describes the theory of arterial signal coordinated control method,including the commonly used arterial coordinated control method,the applicable conditions of arterial coordinated control and the calculation methods of the main parameters,which lay the foundation for establishing real-time control model of bus lanes priority.Secondly,the paper studies the method of bus lane priority arterial coordinated control without considering the influence of the traffic flow,analyzes the distribution of the bus dwell time and the estimation of the confidence interval.Based on estimation of the bus dwell time,the time and space trajectory of the bus lane is obtained according to the travel speed and the route of the bus.Then,considering the probabilistic conditions such as travel time and phase difference,the probability and expectation of the bus through the downstream intersection are determined,the control model based on the expected arrival of the bus is established,and the feasibility of the control method is verified by Vissim simulation software.Finally,the relationship between the traffic flow and bus lane priority is considered.Target on the minimum per capita delay,the coordinated control model of social traffic flow and bus priority arterial based on phase difference optimization is established and solved by genetic algorithm.Then,the phase difference switching condition,the phase difference switching method and the green time allocation method are designed according to the arrival of the vehicle.The results show that the control model can effectively reduce the per capita delay and improve the bus operating efficiency.
