With the development of urban central heating, the construction of heating pipeline network tends to high heating efficiency, wide geographical area of heating and large diameter of heating pipe.At present, the domestic researches lack on 3D analysis of buried heating pipeline, especially on the pipe's diameter exceeds 500 mm.Therefore, the 3D finite element analysis of L-shaped buried heating pipeline is studied in this paper. The conclusion may provide reference for the design of large diameter heat pipeline.Firstly, the operating mechanism of buried heating pipeline and the numerical simulation of pipeline-soil interaction are discussed.Secondly, the 3D finite element model of L-shaped buried heating pipeline is established by ANSYS software, the deformation and stress distribution of pipeline are analyzed. Finally, parametric analysis is carried out to study the impact of six parameters on the deformation and stress distribution of buried heating pipeline. The results show that: the deformation and stress of bending pipe are greater than those of other sections. The bending pipe is the most dangerous section of Lshaped buried heating pipeline. The maximum stress occurs on the 0o point of the cross section that near the intersection of bending pipe and long arm.The cushion block can release the deformation of pipe, reducing the stress of pipeline effectively. The appropriate increase of bending angle, bending radius and reducing the pressure of pipe can reduce the stress of pipe, improving the safety of heating pipe.
