Occupant evacuation within 90 second is an effective method to verify aircraft emergency evacuation capability. At present, the experiment mainly recruiting volunteers to carry on costly and high-risky real evacuation. It reflects great urgency to conduct 90 second emergency evacuation simulation with the help of computer technology.Firstly, impact elements of the civil aircraft emergency evacuation were determined through aircraft, evacuees and the external environment. The elements included aircraft structure like esemergency exits, emergency exit passages, emergency evacuation auxiliary facilities and emergency exit signs. Some emergency evacuation guidance systems such as emergency lighting units and lighting intensity, personnel physiological characteristics such as waist circumference, age, gender and height, as well as some psychological characteristics like panic, pressure and conformity were also included in the elements. In order to create the occupant model, the relationship between occupant characteristics such as age, gender, waist circumference, height, panic degree and evacuation behavior were segment determined in accordance with the evacuation procedure, which was a combination with the experiment results of both ever undertaken and own design. At last, with Visual Studio 2010 development platform, the civil aircraft emergency evacuation simulation software(EES-air) was developed using Visual C++ according to the cabin and staff model. In example of Boeing737-800, all three evacuation plans have every conducted 500 simulations using the EES-air software, which gave valuable reference conclusion by analyzing the experimental results. At the same time, the effectiveness of the software were determined through comparing the result of experiment analysis with the conclusions of the study recognized and the results of some mature simulation software.
