With the development of social economy the shortage of natural resources is becoming more and more serious, natural resources and energy do not meet the human needs of life. More and more people pay attention to the solar energy, a clean renewable energy, especially the application of solar energy is increasing in our daily life. In overcoming solar intermittent instability, the remaining solar heat stores in the ground storage tank in the non-heating season, which is a reasonable way to solve the solar energy collecting, solar heat storage and heat supply problems. In this paper, solar technology situation both at home and abroad has reviewed, the feasibility and problems of solar heating are analyzed.In the absence of auxiliary heat source, according to the local climatic conditions, design a set of suitable for lacal residential solar heating of the underground heat storage system. The composition of solar heating system were introduced in detail, including the heating system, heat storage system, heating system and automatic control system. Through the theoretical analysis of solar collector energy, ditermine collector area and the underground hot water tank storage capacity.Using the basic theory of the heat accumulation, engineering mechanics and heat transfer, to establish a mathematic model of the heat storage water tank and the physical model, theoretical analysis of heat transfer of heat storage water tank. Through the theoretical research and simulation analysis, for under the condition of different soil physical parameters, the temperature distribution of the soil around the underground storage tank. On the basis of this, for the different position of the underground heat storage water tank. The simulation software is used for two different cases to simulate the thermal storage tank, indoor and outdoor distribution of soil temperature field around underground heat storage water tank. This solar application system used in North China provides a reasonable basis.Through the experimental study, under the condition of different coil running water temperature, indoor temperature and heat flux changes, the feasibility of the solar heat storage system and the characteristic of energy saving were analyed.
