In this paper, the microbial strains were s creen ed and t he metabol ite was analyzed. The main purposes are scree ning high efficient st rains adaption to Ba olige Oilfield microbial flooding accordi ng t o the field s ituation, qual itative and quantitative analyz ing the strains m etabolit e and making defini te the microbi al flooding mechanism in order to provi de t heoreti cal guidanc e and technical support for large-scale application of microbial flooding in Huabei Oilfi eld.12 high efficient st rains were selecte d bas ed on t he development contradiction and reservoir condi tions of Ba oli ge oi lfield. The m icrobial optimization methods including culture m edium s creening, facultative anaer obic enrich ing, visbreaking and emulsi fication effect of strains,m etabolit e anal yz ing, degradation effect to oil, displ acement char acteristics through physica l si mulation were studied sys tematically in house tests. In order to implement integral m icrobial flooding in the 4 faul t blocks of Baolige oilfield, studi es on strains combination were conduted and finally 6 strains of HB1~HB6 were selected and appl ied in the field.Combining with indoor experiments and fiel d application of microbial floodi ng,the m onitoring methods of main metabolites including biosurfactants, bioga s and organic acid were est abli shed and studi ed quantitatively. The res ults showed t hat 12 strains can not onl y adapt to the reser voir environment, but also degrade the heavy components in the crude oil and present good oil displacement performance. The oil recove ry could be i ncreased by 15% according to the physical analog ex perim ents. The organic acid was prim arily acetic acid and crude oi l could absorb t he surfactants, production i ncreasing effect was significa nt when 3 g/L lipopeptide surfac ant was i njected int o the formation. The gas producti on rate was increased apparently after microbi alflooding and carbon dioxi de and nitroge n occupied a l arge proport ion in the produce d ga s.The increase of the gas producti on of can effectively enlarge t he formation pres sure, reduce oi l viscos ity and enhance oil recovery.
