Rapid industrialization and urbanization have not only promoted the economic development of the Pearl River Delta,but also resulted in the sharp reduction of farmland resources.In order to guarantee the development of agricultural economy in limited agriculture land,people put agricultural materials releasing high carbon in land use activities,but it also promoted the increase of carbon emissions.Based on the present situation of agricultural land resources in the Pearl River Delta,this paper calculated the amounts of agricultural land use carbon emissions on Pearl River Delta from 1996 to 2014,analyzed the spatial and temporal features,and then analyzed the driving factors of the agricultural land use carbon emissions in Pearl River Delta.Conclusions: First,carbon emissions of agricultural land use in the Pearl River Delta showed an upward trend.The performance of amounts growth from 1996 to 2014 liked a wave,and the intensities were in sharply rising trends.Second,both amounts and intensities of carbon emissions within the region had great disparities.Third,chemical agricultural use brought the most carbon emissions.Especially,fertilizers were the largest proportion of carbon sources.In the analysis of driving factors,the rapid development of agricultural economy was the most important driving factor of increasing carbon emissions,and agricultural industrial restructuring also promoted carbon emissions.On the contrary,agricultural land use efficiency trended to promote the reduction of carbon emissions,and the reduction of agricultural labor force reduced carbon emissions.In conclusion,this paper constructed the general idea of structural emission reduction,technology emission reduction,scale emission reduction,regional difference and linkage emission reduction,and stifling economic growth was an inadvisable way of emission reduction.Finally,the paper put forward the policy recommendations: Firstly,we should strengthen the top level design of the agricultural carbon emission by improving policy system design.Secondly,we should foster the enthusiasm of main body of the agricultural land carbon emissions by using market economic means.Thirdly,we should promote the efficiency of agricultural land use by innovating technology research and development.Fourthly,we should generalize agricultural carbon emission reduction technology by increasing publicity and education.Fifthly,we should lay the basis of agricultural carbon reduction by promoting the scale of land management.Sixthly,we should achieve the overall effect of agricultural carbon reduction by developing regional difference and linkage strategy.
