| In proceeding with this research, Pingjiang county was taken as a case study. A evaluation index system of ecological carrying capacity of Pingjiang county was built using the theory of ecological carrying capacity, regional ecological theory and sustainable development theory and method, combining with the characteristics and actual situation of the Pingjiang county, the ecological carrying capacity of Pingjiang county were also estimated and evaluated, the results are as follows:(1) The existing ecological carrying capacity evaluation method that include net primary productivity of natural vegetation, the ecological footprint method, state space method, the method of supply and demand balance, system dynamic method, comprehensive evaluation method were analyzed. Choosing the comprehensive evaluation method, a evaluation index system of ecological carrying capacity was built that consist of the ecological elastic, bearing capacity of resources, environment, society and resources, environment, social pressure bearing capacity, according to the regional actual situation and characteristics of Pingjiang county and referring the research of evaluation index system of ecological carrying capacity home and abroad. A quantitative model was set up using the comprehensive evaluation method.(2) According to the evaluation index system of ecological carrying capacity and the quantitative model based on the comprehensive evaluation method, the ecological carrying capacity of pingjiang county from years 2008 to 2013 were analyzed. The results show that the ecological elastic index of Pingjiang county from years 2008 to 2013 first decreased and then increased, the overall trend was downward, on the whole, the ecological elastic of Pingjiang county presented medium stable state, ecological system relatively stable; Ecological carrying index presented a rising trend, the ecological pressure first rise and then dropped. Until 2013 the Pingjiang county ecological environment was "medium stable, high load, medium voltage" state, the condition was good on the whole.(3) The relationship between resources, environment, social ecological elastic bearing was analyzed, according to the result of ecological carrying evaluation of Pingjiang county. It also indicate that the ecological pressure in 2008-2011 was over source environmental bearing capacity of society, causing the deterioration of the ecological elastic force, until 2013 the ecological elastic force of Pingjiang county could not reached to higer level in 2008.(4) Strategies and advice was put forward according to the changes in ecological carrying capacity of Pingjiang county, from the perspective of the protection of water resources, vegetation protection, resources reasonable development and change of industrial structure, etc. |
