Nowadays, the integration of world economy and trade is further deepening market competition, in terms of manufacturing enterprises, which means they have to be as much as possible to adapt to the change of the market, speed up the product delivery, improve quality, reduce costs and to form the core competitiveness of enterprises to hold on to the market place. In this paper, the author selected the company S which the author is in as the research object, used example analysis and the method of integration of theory with practice and panoramically rendered company S how to precisely obtain enormous economic benefits for the implementation of lean six sigma method to provide experience for the similar enterprises. S company is a typical chemical enterprises, in recent years, as the downturn of world economy and China’s economic growth, whose competitive pressure surged, industry leadership was gradually lost and product market share went down, By strengthening the implementation of lean six sigma to continuously improve and optimize management, S company improved the company’s operating efficiency and management level, gained a competitive and market advantage.First,the author made a deep study and research on the management method of some research results and information literature on Lean and Six sigma in China and abroad. On the basis of the preliminary combing and summary of manufacturing enterprises, the author analyzed the feasibility of the implementation of Lean and Six sigma management method and obtained the great advantages of performance improvement. Then, through the success of improving the product qualification ratio,the author described how to carry out and implement the lean and six sigma method in the company in detail, from the definition of the project to measure、analyze、 improve, control, finally,fully spread to each department of the company. Next, the author summarized the great achievements from the implementation of lean and six sigma in S company, maily include: achieved some performance on safety production and lean improvement; reduced the production cost;improved the first-stage passing rate of finished products, shortened the new product development cycles and so on., Inspired by the great achievements,the company’s employees made every effort to keep continuous improvement and established the good atmosphere in entire company.Of course,It is hard to avoid some problems in the implementation.So,the author summarized the existing problems and some improvements in the following sections and conducted a preliminary analysis of these problems. Finally,some suggestions to these problems were given on lean and six sigma and the vision of the future was prospected.
