Study On Interactive Development Between Urbanization And Industrial Structure In Gansu Province

The core power of promoting urban development is the adjustment and optimization of industrial structure. Development of urbanization and the evolution of industrial structure have occupied an important position between regional economic development and economic growth. Based on the presence of severe regional differences under China’s basic national conditions, urbanization for different regions have different requirements should be developed, while the industrial structure of the force should have regional characteristics. The paper studies the structure of the interaction relationship between the Gansu urbanization and industrial development. It can provide recommendations for healthy development of urbanization and industrial structure adjustment of Gansu Province.This paper uses the literature induction, data collection method, empirical analysis and normative analysis and dynamic measurement method to study the interaction relationship between urbanization and industrial structure in-depth of Gansu.The first part is a summary of researches and theoretical basis. First of all, this paper reviewed the relationship between urbanization and industrial structure from both domestic and foreign research. Then the paper analyzed the interactive development between the two levels of the relationship. Secondly, based on the concept of urbanization and industrial structure and related theories elaborated on the mechanism of interaction between urbanization and industrial structure were analyzed.The second part is the empirical research that mainly on the interactive development between urbanization and industrial structure of Gansu. Firstly, the paper has a brief analysis that the urbanization and industrial structure evolution and the development of Gansu Province, and with SPSS17.0 statistical software to analyze the correlation between the two sides. The study concluded that there is a significant negative correlation between the first industry and the development of urbanization in Gansu Province. There is a significant positive correlation between the second industry and the development of urbanization. There is a significant positive correlation between the third industry and the development of urbanization. Secondly, based on the statistics from 2000 to 2013 for the sample, the paper constructed the evaluation index system of the level of development between urbanization and industrial structure, and then used the entropy method to determine the weight of urbanization and industrial structure. And then the paper use the coordination degree evaluation model to evaluate the coordinated development. The results show that, the coordinated development level is in a failed state between urbanization and industrial structure as of 2013. Finally, in order to analyze urbanization and dynamic evolution of industrial structure of Gansu Province, and have a deep understanding of the relationship between the two sides, the paper uses co integration and Granger causality analysis. From the perspective of empirical analysis, the paper analyzed the long-term mechanism of action between urbanization and industrial structure of Gansu Province. And the paper gets the Granger causality between the two sides. Urbanization is the granger reason of the first and the second industry’ development. The first and the second industry is not the granger cause of urbanization. The granger reason between the proportion of the second industry output and urbanization is not obvious.The third part is to summarize the full text and put forward relevant policy suggestions.
