With the development of China’s e-commerce industry, the social transfer mode has dramatically changed. The express industry emerged into a new type of modern service industry. After 30 years development, China has formed a large courier industry: State-owned express delivery companies, private express delivery companies and foreign express delivery express. In the development process, private express delivery companies have been developing steadily bigger and stronger, gaining a firm foothold. However, in the process of rapid development, the shortage of human resource, especially the shortage of talent resource has become the bottleneck which restricts the enterprises’ progress.On the basis of such a background, this study selected the employee who work for the private express delivery companies to discuss the influence of perceived organizational support on the employee’s job performance. To explore the influence, this study introduces a new perspective which is called job embeddedness. Construct a relational model including three variables: Perceived Organizational Support, Job Embeddedness, Job Performance.In order to discuss the above questions, this study is structured as followed.On the basis of lecture research, this study explores the content, structure, measurement of three variables and puts forward the tested hypothesis. Then, combining the characteristics of the research object, this study extract the three dimensions structure of perceived organizational support, the two dimensions structure of job performance and single dimension structure of job embeddedness. Subsequently, based on 455 valid samples, SPSS and AMOS software, this study uses EFA, CFA, correlation analysis, regression analysis to verify the reliability and validity of the three variables, as well as to test the proposed hypothesis. The result shows that the three-dimensional perceived organizational support and job embeddedness have positively correlate with job performance. Job embeddedness plays a mediate role between two-dimensional of the perceived organizational support and job performance. The mediate role of job embeddedness between identifying value and each dimension of job performance has not been verified. In addition, the employee’s age has an impact on job embeddedness. Educational background has an impact on caring about wellbeing and task performance. At last, on the basis of the conclusion, this research point out the management inspiration, limitations and future directions.
