Study On The Rural Poverty Problem Of Ganzhou

Poverty is a big challenge for the international community today. Reducing andeliminating poverty， promoting the comprehensive development of the human society isnot only the common pursuit of the international community， but also a boundenresponsibility of the Chinese Communist Party and government. Since the reform andopening up to the outside， the Chinese economy developed rapidly， the anti-povertywork has also made remarkable achievements. However， due to the huge povertypopulation， unbalanced regional development and other reasons， still there is a lot ofpoor people in China， these poor people are mostly located in the mountain areas，deserts and petrochemical areas， old revolutionary base areas， ethnic minority frontierregion and other areas where the natural environment is poor and the living conditionsare harsh. Ganzhou belongs to the typical old revolutionary base， for a long time，because of the weak economic foundation， inadequate infrastructure， harsh naturalenvironment and other reasons， the society and economy developed slowly， people slivelihood issue is serious， the number of the poor is large， the rural poverty problemneeds to solve urgently.Just in this background， this paper chooses the rural poverty problem of Ganzhou asthe subject of the study. In the course of the study， we begin with the theory， byreviewing both domestic and abroad poverty-related literature， learning the currentresearch situation and the trend of development， then giving the definition and standardof the poverty， laying the foundation of the following research. On this basis， throughthe description and analysis of the relevant data， and concluded the current situation andcharacteristics of the rural poverty of Ganzhou. Then， combining with the domestic andabroad theory of poverty and the actual situation in rural area of Ganzhou， giving theconcrete analysis of the influence factors of the rural poverty of Ganzhou. Next，selecting several relevant indicators， using the grey correlation analysis method toempirically analysis the relationship between the influential factors and poverty， definethe degree of importance of every factor affecting poverty. Finally， on the basis of theabove analysis，put forward several specific countermeasures which can relieve the ruralpoverty of Ganzhou. From the content and framework， the paper can be divided into sixparts:The first part is introduction， including the background and significance of thestudy， the specific ideas and methods of the study， and reviewing both domestic andabroad related theories of poverty.The second part is the definition of related concepts， mainly giving the concept ofpoverty， giving the classification of poverty according different standards， also givingsome introduction on poverty measurement， to prepare for the following analysis. The third part analyzes the regional overview of Ganzhou， describes the currentsituation of rural poverty of Ganzhou， and summarizes the characteristics of the ruralpoverty of Ganzhou.The fourth part analysis the main influential factors of rural poverty according to theconcrete situation of Ganzhou.The fifth part uses the grey correlation analysis method to empirically analysis therelationship between the influential factors and rural poverty of Ganzhou according tothe data which can be got in statistical yearbook.The sixth part put forward several countermeasures which can relieve the ruralpoverty of Ganzhou on the basis of the preceding analysis.
