The Growth Capability Evaluation Of Provincial Cities In Zhongyuan Economic Region

Economic globalization and regionalization has become a main trend of world economic developmenttoday, with the evolution of Economic globalization. Gradually this kind of economic regions which consistof some sub-regions with similar economic level has become the mainstream of development of economy.With changing of the patterns of regional development in China, Zhongyuan Economic Region has becomethe hotpot of regional development on research, and as one new region, Zhongyuan Economic Region isthe carrier and platform for revitalization of Henan province and Zhongyuan Region, it was the inevitablechoice for coordinated development of region.According to the research of related concepts, theories and methods, first, the paper would define the“growth capacity”. Second, through constructing the system of indexes adapt to the development ofprovincial cities of Zhongyuan Economic Region, then analyzing the growth basis of cities, the Strength ofgrowth, the potential of growth and the circumstance of growth. Finally, Combating with the reality ofcities which come from Zhongyuan Economic Region, and utilizing Principal Component Analysis andCluster Analysis to compare30Cities’ growth capacity from2002to2011, to promote the growth capacityof cities, it needs to analyze the results and put forward some corresponding strategies to resolve problems.The aim of article is to explore the growth pattern of healthy, high-speed, effective for ZhongyuanEconomic Region based on the theoretical study and construction of index system for growth capacity.
