Inorder to increase the reliability of the results, it put the township of Liaoning Province as thebasic division unit. Based on the concept significance of the main producing areas ofagricultural, position of the Northeast China Plain base on major function oriented zonesregional Overview of Liaoning Province factors of agricultural production, considering therepresentativeness and availability of indicators, It builds the index system of agriculturalprimary production areas in Liaoning Province. Selecting the multi-criteria evaluation andk-means clustering method,it research the identify of Liaoning Province1071villages andtowns the main producing areas of agricultural.it analysis to determine the direction of themain producing areas of agricultural production applied using the clustering and outliers ofglobal autocorrelation and local autocorrelation. On the basis of the qualitative analysis,consulted throughout the proposal, the main agricultural areas fed back results to the finalplan. It calculated the similarity of the classification results of multi-criteria evaluation and the classification results of k-means clustering method. The classification results ofmulti-criteria evaluation is more similarity. Therefore, multi-criteria evaluation method ismore suitable for identifying the main agricultural areas than k-means clustering method.Based on previous research, the basic unit, the index system and classification methodare improved.Paper improves the accuracy of the findings in many ways.Paper results aremore realistic.It chose the better way to divide the main producing areas of agricultural.Itprovides a frame of reference for the main function zoning in Liaoning Province.It providesthe theoretical and practical significance for the division of agricultural products in mainproducing areas.
