Research On Inventory Management Strategy Of Expressway Maintenance Spare-parts

The construction of the highway network has been improving. The highway shifts theirfocus from construction to fine management step by step. However, the inventorymanagement in highway maintenance spare-parts is still in the stage of extensive management.The maintenance spare-parts have a great variety and are very different. It is a difficultproblem to manage the spare-parts, if mismanagement it will lead to inventory redundancyand high occupation of current capital. And more importantly, it will have a big impact on thesafety and service level of highway. Therefore, this paper studies the important issues ininventory management. Based on the highway maintenance spare-parts’ present situation ofmanagement, here offers a series of inventory management strategies and use the inventorymodels in the management of highway maintenance spare-parts. Finally, it makes a caseanalysis by using highway maintenance spare parts inventory control strategies and verify thefeasibility and effectiveness of the inventory control strategies by using the data from theHenan Zhongyuan high speed. All these strategies can be used to the highway maintenancespare-parts inventory management theoretical guidance and improving the spare partsinventory management capabilities and economic benefits.(1)According to the highway maintenance spare-parts’ features analysis, this paper offersa classification of maintenance spare-parts by using the analytic hierarchy process and ABCclassification strategy. At the same time, using an AHP software to calculate and analyseconveniently.(2)Considering the demand of square-parts, this paper offers the Bayesian predictionmethod and classical forecasting methods to calculate the demand to the discrete andcontinuous highway maintenance spare parts, respectively.(3)Studies the deterministic and stochastic inventory model and based on the result of theclassification and demand prediction this paper offers inventory control strategies to Class-Aspare-parts and Class-BC spare-parts separately.(4)It makes a case analysis by using highway maintenance spare parts inventory controlstrategies and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the inventory control strategies.
