With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, wireless ad hoc networks has been widely used in various fields. And as the important part of the wireless communication technology especially wireless ad hoc network, the wireless network routing protocol has attracted a lot of researchers to study in recent years. In traditional wireless ad hoc network, AODV protocol is a kind of excellent routing protocol. This paper focuses on the AODV routing protocol, and mainly for the problem of lack of consideration of link interruption risk and the problem of long delay after interruption in AODV routing protocol. This problem has become particularly prominent in the network topology changing environment, for continuous operations, and will bring great harm to the user experience. To improve this situation, this paper proposes a new ad hoc routing protocol CSE-AODV based on maintenance of assistance nodes, which has obvious advantages in terms of interrupt delay.After declaration of research background and purpose, we analyze the requirement of routing protocol in the scenario of frequent topology changes, and the advantages of AODV protocol compared with other protocols are analyzed. This paper briefly introduces the principle of AODV protocol, and analyzes the shortcomings of the AODV protocol in high speed dynamic scene. The simulation tool NS2 used in this research and the parameters analysis models that are adopted and designed in this research are introduced in this paper. On the basis of this model and the simulation tool, this paper carries on the simulation and analysis of AODV protocol in high speed dynamic scene, which indicates the limitations of AODV protocol in the scene of frequent changing topology.On the basis of AODV analysis, this paper proposes a new improved algorithm of AODV routing based on assistant maintenance, CSE-AODV algorithm. In order to improve the speed and the repair rate of the local repair, an improved ASSIST message based fast local route repair algorithm is proposed in the CSE-AODV protocol. And In order to improve the stability of the path, an active maintenance algorithm based on REPORT message and neighbor node stability is proposed based on the fast local routing repair algorithm. Based on the two main algorithms, this paper presents the implementation of the algorithm.Aiming at the problem which different simulation scenarios lead to performance simulation not comparable, a quantitative model of simulation scene is studied in this paper, a quantitative algorithm of topology change in wireless communication system is proposed, and the realization method and analysis are presented. Finally, based on the quantitative evaluation model and the performance parameter analysis model, a lot of simulation of CSE-AODV algorithm is proposed, and on the basis of which, the algorithm is analyzed. The analysis results show that the CSE-AODV algorithm can maintain the path stability, and effectively reduce the impact of link interruption.
