This research is based on the investigation of Huanglong Island in Zhoushan, using a variety of ethnographic research methods, attempting to present a panoramic show of the island’s interpersonal communication, mass communication, organizational communication and folk communication. By presenting different communication networks and sketched out a game of island fishermen behavior, cognition and recognition.The body of the article describes the classification of various communication networks. Among them, Interpersonal Communication focuses on life situations and dissemination of "information source" of the seawall, Yusao daily life and communication as well as Island otherness; mass communication focuses on offshore mode of transmission, modern media and the Internet in Huanglong Island; organization communication focus on the power corporate agency, modern education and religion, etc.; folk Communication describes the main island to island as the representative of the funeral ritual communication, as well as Kaibu Festival represented by the ceremony of transmission.The author trys to make a panoramic show of the island’s communication networks, and then furtherly explore whether the different networks do make sense on Huanglong Island fishermen’s cognitive and behavioral abilities, identity and role.
